! So both Atomic Samurai and Zombieman have reached opponents that are counters to their style of fighting. It's always scary to see S-class heroes with their backs against the wall, but it's some of the best fights in the whole series and what I yearn for. To this day, the fight between Metal Bat and Garou was some of the best content I've ever read. Seeing other heroes get the same amount of page-time is, and will be, great stuff.

He looks very.. simple.
Same as Murata drawn Black Sperm and Fuhrer Ugly.I mean those are Dragon level monsters along with Gums but lack of that much of a detail makes them a bit less impressive. Some of lesser monsters looked to be drawn much better/ looking more scary so top of MA looks less intimidating because Murata went for their looks staying closer to original without adding much of his "sauce".

In general everything looks amazing, every freaking page. And when not then only because he obviously wanted to preserve the vibe of the original (Black Sperm, Homeless Emperor's god looking like a doodle).

I do not mind Murata using the original art, except for Fuhrer Ugly. There are many monsters in the association who don't exactly fit the definition of "beautiful" and that Mask doesn't seem to have problems with. In order to make him a credible threat, Murata should have given him some ugliness-upgrade.
"You either die a villain, or live long enough to see yourself become the hero." - Vegeta, Hero Slayer Garou, most MLP villains etc.

The problem is that the things that make a human ugly are pretty much the same things that make a monster ugly. Thus giving Fuhrer Ugly a unique, like, inheritly human kind of ugliness that cannot be found in other monsters may be an impossible task and the only way to set himself off would be to be overwhelmingly ugly. Of course you could go the comedy route for example by making his ugliness petty/an informed attribute that only counts in Sweet Masks value system, but as far as I can tell One/Murata play this straight here. And as far as I can tell, his evilness is the consequence of his ugliness, not vice versa.

Well, i wasn't talking about Gums himself, but all the panels of the whole fight between Gums and Pig God, it's not the character design, it's the art itself that seemed not the best to me.

Super wasteful 3 huge panels and I still know exactly what's going on, just because of Gum's saliva indicating motion and impact so well. Simply brilliant.
Maybe this means little to others, but I'm someone who usually has a hard time following a fight choreography. Sometimes even in high-quality works like One Piece.

Oi Oi.. Katakuris big fight with Luffy was even better. Not much taking into consideration how many chapters we got since Smoker vs Vergo. I hope that Wano will deliver in its last parts in terms of fights.. Hunger for big 1 vs 1 is strong since Enies Lobby.

I beg to differ. Katakuri vs Luffy was first one that was clearly better for me in that regard.
As for Muratas artwork, I would like to see his take on One Piece fight - I think it would be quite a sight to see if we got Gear 4th Luffy vs anyone done by Murata.
Guy is one of best artists when it comes to drawing fights.. Only more impressive than Onepunch Man movement-wise Manga that I seen was Blade of the Immortal.

It adds to the comedy immensely as it makes it feel like a looney tunes skit. Even baring witness, first hand, what Saitama is capable of everyone either tries to play it cool, play it off as a fluke and forget about it, get unreasonably angry, or simply achieve extreme denial bordering on insanity. Saitama is a tacky caped bald man with a stoned out face so everyone always assumes he's a normal citizen or the lowest of the low in the hero rankings. Literally turning expectations on their head.
