! Wasn't Sweet Mask buried in rubble until after Fuhrer Ugly died? I need to read that arc again but I seem to recall him somehow sensing Ugly was dead and making his move afterwards,
! This scene will presumably replace the bit where Evil Natural Water sliced off Mask's arm only for him to reattach that arm by jamming it back against the stump since that was what introduced his healing powers in the original.

This arc is getting rather brutal.
Very interested in seeing where things go though, even for this series the bad guys seem rather overpowered at the moment.

All three of these are very farfetched, i know... but honestly i can't think of anything other than this. Because, I reiterate, Tank Top Master CAN'T be dead, I'm 100% sure about it.
I mean if Tatsumaki could fool the Homes with thousands if not millions of projectiles tailing her, fooling this brute with a more predictable move set should be a piece of cake. And don't really see her engaging so recklessly if she couldn't handle that much.
I never read the original except couple chapters randomly, so this is just pure guesswork.

Just gotta appreciate these 2 big cadre chapters. OPM as fun here as it's ever been. Murata's art is absolutely godlike as well. These 2 chapters (short in-between chapter nonwithstanding) are an absolute blast. I'm gonna come back to these chapters a lot. Also gotta appreciate führer ugly here. In the comic he's whatever but here he's carrying these chapters. Murata please blow my mind with the other cadres too (so hyped for one of the cadres in particular, you know which one I mean). This is very promising for the best part of the whole monster association arc.

Ugly tearing Gums apart from the inside while the latter desperately tries to keep itself together is easily among my top 5 scenes in the series. Everything about that sequence is so disturbingly perfect.

What was so great about the webcomic? IIRC they just got instakilled. What was the choreography (genuinely asking because I can't remember the details)? Here we actually get more content, I like this a lot more. With how much more I appreciate furhrer ugly in this redraw, it's nice he gets more than a lousy one-shot sendoff.

Yeah, that scene is a real high-point in the chapter. We've had a lot of the Cadres trash-talking each other and slaughtering lower level monsters but this is the first "fight" we've seen between them and it was just perfect.
Apparently Gums stomach acid works much faster on bad guys.

Pig God was completely swallowed, long enough to jump around in Gum's belly. His face even pushed against it's mucosa.

But at least the others were either just in it's mouth and not swallowed or they wore a techno suit.
Ugly reminds me of the guy in Robocop who got washed in toxic waste.

Pig God also ignored all of Eyesight's venom; his skin probably just isn't affected by chemicals in general.
