Ok so… who can stop him now that he's outside? Who's left? Sonic maybe?

Ok so… who can stop him now that he's outside? Who's left? Sonic maybe?
The cat cadre will deus ex itself, just like against Pri-Pri.
So my bet is Watchdog-Man or Cucumber-man.
-
Would be hilarious to see what goes through cat's mind when it gets surprised by a cucumber.
-

I mean we HAVE to have Cat vs Dog right?!?!?
-
I think so too. Dog it is.
And brilliant chapter. Brilliant!
Cant wait to see this in anime
-
Cat vs Dog would be cool, but since he's has extreme speed, a fight against Sonic could be possible as well, it would be a good match.
-
Doubt it will be Watchdog Man since Watchdog Man never leaves his post in Q-City. That’s why he didn’t even bother attending the strategy meeting. It’ll be either Genos or Sonic that deals with Nyan.

Isn't Genos already inside the Monster Association HQ? Or am i wrong? Also, we're all hardcore fans of OPM, we all perfectly know that Watchdog Man doesn't leave Q City, but it still could be him, since maybe Nyan (as Jabra already said) will "deus ex" himself, and end up in Q City simply by sheer randomness, and meet Watchdog Man. After all, Q City could be very close to Z City, for all we know. And if you think about it, who else could it be if not him? It's the only S class hero outside the Monster Association HQ (except Metal Knight and maybe Genos, if he is actually outside and i'm dumb), and Sonic is possible, but unlikely, since he's not a hero, who knows if he will take the risk to fight Nyan? Unless he sees how fast he is… maybe that could be the reason, since he wants to fight anyone who thinks he's faster than him.

Watchdog Man did attend the meeting in A city before the Dark Matter Thieves leveled it.

In the webcomic he is, not in the manga though.

I feel like you’re not reading anything I’m saying. I know he was at the Madam Shibabawa meeting. I’m saying he wasn’t as this most recent meeting regarding the Monster Association raid. The Hero Association said he won’t Be taking part in the raid because he won’t leave his Q-City post.
-
In the webcomic he is, not in the manga though.
Yep, you're completely right, i went back and check the previous chapters, in chapter 94 Genos says that he will wait for Saitama to get home before heading to the Monster Association HQ, so in the end, only Bang, Bomb, Fubuki and King went inside (and Saitama, but Genos doesn't know). Also, in chapter 106, when Genos feels the impact from Saitama's punch against Overgrown Rover, we can see him calmly washing the dishes at home as if there wasn't an all out war right under his house…....... so yeah, he's outside...
It will probably be him the one who will face Nyan then, he's right there already, in Z City. Can't wait to see his new upgrades.
@Ubiq:There's always Drive Knight who isn't really the type to let any monster get away.
Drive Knight was destroyed inside the Monster Association HQ way before the war started, right? And even if he's alive and it was actually part of his plan, he's still inside the HQ.

You said "Doubt it will be Watchdog Man since Watchdog Man never leaves his post in Q-City." and I answered to that by proving that he does. Should I read the entire thread just to make sure you don't relativize everything you say at some point?

Except you didn’t… The Hero Association flat out says he doesn’t act outside of Q-City in the manga.
But I digress, that’s not even the issue here.
Me: I doubt he’ll show up here. He didn’t bother attending the strategy meeting (pertaining to the Monster Association raid).
You: He attended the A-City meeting (completely irrelevant)
Me: He didn’t attend THIS strategy meeting.
You: tries to be cheeky and cute by posting WDM at the A-City meeting (again, completely irrelevant to my posts)
Me: You’re not reading what I’m saying, he wasn’t at the Monster Association meeting, meaning he’s highly unlikely to show up to fight Nyan since his activities are limited to Q-City.
If you have a problem with him not leaving Q-City, take that up with Murata and/or ONE. They’re the ones who wrote those lines into the manga, not me. I don’t need you to keep on bringing up that A-City meeting when it has nothing to do with my posts. I read the manga, I’m well aware that he attended that meeting. Know what he didn’t do though? He didn’t do anything against the Dark Matter Thieves when he was RIGHT there, so he sure as shyte won’t do anything now when he didn’t even attend this meeting and is several cities away guarding the only one he canonically cares about.

C'mon calm down, it's a misunderstanding.
Yes, Watchdog Man sometimes leaves Q City, but only if the matter could involve his city. The Shibabawa profecy could affect even Q City, since it was about the fate of the entire world and humanity, so Watchdog Man went to that meeting, because there was a possible direct danger to Q City.
The Monster Association HQ is located in Z City, so it doesn't concern Q City directly, that's why Watchdog Man wasn't present at the second meeting. Basically, it's impossible that Watchdog Man will leave Q City in this case, since there's no reason to do it. That's what Louis-1988 was trying to say, i think. He didn't meant that Watchdog Man CAN'T leave Q City so he never will, he meant that IN THIS CASE it's impossible that he leaves and go to actively search for Nyan. The only way for them to meet is that Nyan goes to him in Q City, not the opposite. -

His whereabouts are unknown as far as I can recall. We only know they lost contact with him after he sent the info on location. Iron Knight's proxy was the one that did get destroyed.

On a side note, isn't neko's trip to surface just another opportunity for Genos to get trashed (but still win the battle) ? I can't remember if he was or wasn't summoned for the MAHQ operation

He was cleaning the dishes last time he appeared.

Genos and Bang weren't summoned, even though i don't remember exactly the reason.
In any case, Genos has the new upgrade, with that cool looking body, Doctor Kuseno said that he can now surpass his previous limits of power and strenght or something like that, but only for 10 minutes, or he will destroy himself and actually die. So maybe, Genos vs Nyan could be a good chance to see the new upgraded body at work, and see how strong he is now, so i don't think he will get trashed, on the contraty, i think he will kick Nyan's butt fairly easy, otherwise, if he still has big problems with a low dragon (more like a high demon) like Nyan, what was the purpose of that big upgrade he got? -

Child Emperor takes on Metal Knight's warning to not trust everyone and excludes both Genos and Bang from the MHA assault: Genos for his newcomer background and suspect origin from an annihilated city, and Bang for "allowing" Garou to escape.
You know, things they change to give some cohesion where the webcomic jumped straight into it, mostly.

For all we know, he's one of the stronger ones. Only reason he dipped on PPP is because he wanted to avoid PPP fighting style, for personal reasons.

Thanks for filling me in.

For some reason, I've integrated Genos' (serious) fight pattern as "get upgrade > briefly shine > get wrecked in the process of winning the next battle". Maybe wrongly so, and even then now would be time for the "briefly shine", so I guess you're in the right. Unless Bang ends up taking the case, or one of the A-class heroes surpasses themselves.

Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame were Dragons being considered for cadre positions within the association and Nyan was already a cadre. He's most certainly a great deal stronger than any Demon level monster.
People are sleeping on Nyan and I'm not sure why. Gyoro Gyoro only allowed three Dragons to participate in the Monster Association raid against the heroes and Nyan was one of those three. Not saying that tat necessarily means he's as strong as Gouketsu or Elder Centipede, but his abilities are clearly well respected by his superiors.

Yes, i rememberd that it was a trust issue, but i didn't remember the whole thing with Metal Knight saying to not trust anyone.

10 seconds yeah, right.
About Nyan, well, it's just that seeing how Puri Puri Prisoner with his "bristle armor" (who is still technically the weakest of the S class) was able to withstand him fairly easy, gives off the impression that he's not exactly one of the strongest of the cadres, and since i think that upgraded Genos > Puri Puri Prisoner with bristle armor, i don't think he will have that many problems with Nyan….. or maybe Bristle Armor is actually extremely OP... after all, with that power up, Puri Puri was able to survive to a pretty savage attack from Garou...

ONE PUNCH-MAN 159 RAW

Cat vs Knight
https://mangadex.org/chapter/713691/1 -
I'm pleased that Drive Knight is back in the game! Hopefully he also gets to participate in the final battle.
-
Ok, Drive Knight in action! He was one of the possibilities after all, let's see how well he does. It's unfortunate that the chapter was so short though…
-
Waganma words kinda jinxed DK chances of winning.
Shadow Ring looks good in the cover.
-
So Samurai Cyborg gets defeated and suddenly drive Knight shows up?
That's not fishy at all
-
Cat vs Knight
https://mangadex.org/chapter/713691/1Caaaaaaaaallled it.
Waganma words kinda jinxed DK chances of winning.
Against somebody less cocky, I could see that being a bad sign for Drive Knight but it seems just as likely to me that Nyan is going to learn very quickly how wide of a range there is when it comes to Class-S heroes. The shenanigans he used with Prisoner aren't going to fly with this opponent.
-
Short chapter though
-
What about Gearsper though, what's the deal with him? Fubuki even thought it was her sister, has he really that much potential? Wasted on Nyan, yes, but still…
-

My guess?
He probably doesn't have as much potential as tatsumaki, and it's more a ding on Fubuki's perception of how strong her sister is.
Webcomic spoilers:
! Fubuki utilizes a technique in a later fight she believes is a unique way of fighting that her sis hasn't figured out, but Tatsumaki learned this technique naturally as a child and weaponized it as a powerful attack. Tatsumaki is just on a completely different level that I don't think that Fubuki can really understand how much of a gap there is
-
The way i read it his full raw strength poured out in one desperate attack is probably on the same level as what Tatsumaki does on the regular. I mean she could tell it wasn't her sis, but it is an honest assumption to make when such an attack just suddenly flares up

Probably both, i agree.

ONE PUNCH-MAN 160 RAW
-
! On one side, damn good showing from Drive Knight! On the other side, I'm kind of sad, too. Nyan was such a fun character.
-
Ok, i have to admit… that was cool. Sorry Genos, but you've been outclassed in coolness...
-
Chapter 118 is out: https://mangadex.org/chapter/722705
-
Damn that was entertaining. One of those chapters where you wish it was colored.
Also unexpected Drive Knight coolness. I thought he would have a hard time matching Genos' weapons and an even harder time competing with Metal Knights huge Battle Robots, but he found a sweet spot between both.
Sigh, I wish we would still have madhouse to animate all of this at one point.
Edit: Just one thing I didn't get, at which point did he apply the acid to Nyan's face?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
On the other side, I'm kind of sad, too. Nyan was such a fun character.
It's still possible that he slipped out of his fur coat unnoticed. Like he shed his first layer of skin or something, giving him that hairless cat look.
!
I mean, this was a bit too easy, no?
-
Edit: Just one thing I didn't get, at which point did he apply the acid to Nyan's face?
From how I interpret it, the acid was poured into the surrounding holes beforehand (perhaps during the doughnuts).
-
I find it a bit weird and interesting at same time that in one form Engine Knight looks like robotic version of Carnage Kabuto - I would love to see those two fight each other. In other scene EK looked quite alike Boros.
Beside that Engine Knight seem to be absurdly strong, one of top tier S-class heroes. I am up to date with Webcomic and even with that in mind, taking out Dragon tier Monster without getting any visible damage is big feat that only few of S-class are capable of.
It was very cool to see Engine Knight fight but I would love to see more from him against stronger monster.
Btw I feel like Murata will change some pages as cool factor in this chapter was very, very high.
-
Nyan ability to fit anywhere is such a visually pleasing power.
A hero being effective is so rare in this manga I expect Nyan to come alive next chapter or escape.
-
It's still possible that he slipped out of his fur coat unnoticed. Like he shed his first layer of skin or something, giving him that hairless cat look.
Or, he could have 9 lives. Would be fitting for a cat monster.
And yeah, entertaining chapter !
