How many times have Saitama and Garou cross paths in Murata's version anyway? 2?

This is interesting, we get to see more feats involving the S class heroes.
This is from one of the OPM audio book, I'll post the summary of the story here. The event is presume to be taken place sometime after Season one of anime, and before Genos meet Gouketsu. It is said that ONE had spent over 10 hours to make changes/amendment for the script, so it is pretty much canon material.
- Genos is having a special training in virtual world, by using something called Virtual Genocide System. The system is able to store the data of every opponents Genos faced before, and replicates them in the virtual world, the data stored and generated in the virtual world is known as "Ghost".
- During the virtual training, Genos was able to defeat Mosquito Girl & Deep Sea King with ease, but he lost 55th times to Carnage Kabuto.
- Genos later visited Saitama and asked Saitama to have a virtual training with the "Ghost" of Genos, Genos's "Ghost" was defeated in one punch.
- Genos was demotivated and leave Saitama's place, he proceed to visit Hero Association and asked the help of 4 heroes - Snack(Snek), Zombieman, Metal Bat & Dark Shine, to fight with Carnage Kabuto in the virtual world. So that he can observes and find out what he's lacking.
- Sneck was instantly defeated and began to doubt the system is bugged.
- Metal Bat was defeated after 3 minutes into the fight. He complained that the unrealistic of the system which only allowed player to have 1 life, unlike in reality where he could keep getting back up after being defeated.
- Zombieman defeated Carnage Kabuto after a week. After Kabuto's transformation time finished, he entered into a weaked state, Zombieman took the opportunity to kill him during the period.
- Dark Shine defeated Carnage Kabuto in 15 minutes.
- Genos then set up a Saitama vs Saitama(from yesterday's data) virtual fight. And at the end Saitama finished off the Saitama from yesterday with one punch.

I just realized that the tile of the chapter is: Is it because I am the caped baldy?! On point.
-
Huh, didn't expect Carnage Kabuto to be stronger then Deep Sea King, and good to see Genos redeems himself on Mosquito Girl and DSK, especially DSK since he only lost due to saving a girl. Surprised Dark Shine beats CK in only 15 min though, didn't expect him to be that strong.
-
Zombie man looks really great in this outfit
!
And very manly ofcourse

So, from the Saitama VS Saitama thing (other than it being a practical joke) it seems that Saitama's plot armor works no matter how strong the enemy is, he would always be stronger because… reasons.

So, from the Saitama VS Saitama thing (other than it being a practical joke) it seems that Saitama's plot armor works no matter how strong the enemy is, he would always be stronger because… reasons.
I'm pretty sure it may also be due to the inability of technology to truly measure Saitama's strength, as was demonstrated in an extra chapter with Child Emperor's "Power Level Mask."
That equipment broke when attempting to detect Saitama's strength.
http://www.mangapanda.com/onepunch-man/84/23Even then, it stands to reason Saitama would be able to exceed the strength he's demonstrated the entire story, whether or not the equipment makes accurate figures from what feats we have seen.
-
I wish child emperor would bring up his toy again to see what monsters like Gouketsu and else are worth

Wrong choice of word, it's not plot armor, that's different.
Btw, Saitama defeating the virtual yesterday's Saitama "easily" could be explained by one of these three facts:
- He keeps getting way stronger and stronger every day. Saitama mentioned he keeps training, so maybe if he really broke his limiter, it could mean that he can get way stronger with minimum effort.
- The computer couldn't actually calculate the real strenght of Saitama because his obviously too strong, so it created a version of Saitama at the limit of its capability (like for example, real Saitama is at level 1.000.000, but the level cap of what the computer can create and manage is 1.000, so the virtual Saitama was at lvl 1.000).
- Saitama never showed his true strenght, for all we know until now he could have used only 1% of his power or even less, even against Boros, so the computer created the virtual Saitama based on these data, and that would mean the strenght of virtual Saitama is only 1% (or whatever) of real Saitama.
-
or 4) Saitama is strong enough to kill himself, if the clone attacked first, he would have been killed.
-
Transition chap, huh?
It's a pity that Saitama will go to beat some guys, i wanted to see more carnage for humans.
Must say that i like Genos' performance in this chapter, he can be good at many things, fights aren't one. For sure, i forgot about Fubuki's existance till now, besides piece of meat, hope she shows some clumsy moments with Tatsumaki around.
-
btw, this chapter confirms Tatsumaki doesn't wear underwears. Unless of course she wears high-waisted underwears of course.
Why do mangakas have a fetish with pedophile stuff ? Really. I'd like to know

She's not a kid though.
-
She's not a kid though.
That's the standard excuse mangakas always use. "She looks like a kid but she's a grown-up"
which doesn't change that what matters is that she looks like a kid and she's sexualized. At least Oda didn't sexualize Sugar's bodyWhy do they even have to draw grown-ups who look like kids in the first place ? I don't think anyone else is doing that

The simple answer is pandering to the folks that are into it. But I think Tatsumaki definitely looks more like an adult in her serious mode to me. She's just very short. And those are usually the only times we get those more fan service shots. It's no doubt one of the worst tropes manga/anime keep up. Right up there with incest.
-
She's 28 and, to me, she doesn't look like a kid at all.

Who cares? And even if it's an excuse, you can't still say anything, she's still 28, so even if her body looks like a child (more like a 14/15 years old girl, not 8 anyway), she can still give consent, and that's the whole point. You can't have sexual intercourse with a child NOT because he/she has the body of a child, but beacuse he/she can't give the consent since they're still immature and probably he/she doesn't know what he/she is doing.
You know what would be bad FOR REAL? Doing the opposite, drawing a child with an adult body, that would be wrong, because even if he/she looks like an adult, he/she is still a kid and can't give consent.
Imagine having sex with an adult with a body of a kid, that would be totally legal according to the law, but the opposite, doing sex with a kid with an adult body, would be TOTALLY illegal, it doesn't matter how she/he looks. And btw, Tatsumaki is gonna get angry if you treat her like a kid, remember! Do you wanna die??

Oof, we've reached peak anime waifu intellectuallism over here, "it's okay to ram 'er if she's 18 in the mind but the body's still a child". I think I've had enough internet for the day, you've amply saturated my need for bullshit hikkikomori otaku philosophy for the next week and a bit.
-
Hikkikomori is a real thing? I thought it was just some weird weeb phrase Neo Yokio decided to abuse lol.
-

That's not what he said.
Sure, 18 is considered adult in most places but he simply said adult, and since the subject at hand is 28 let's use that number. In the real world there are people that due to hormonal problems look like teenagers even when they're already in their 30s. Those people can do whatever the fuck they want, they are adults even though they may look younger than that. They are fully aware of the implications of their actions. They can give true consent.
Now you also have kids that look like old people, not older kids, old people (I forgot the name of the disease). Those kids are still kids, even though they look 60 they don't have the experience or development to be fully aware of the sexual implications. Those cannot give true consent. For example, a few years ago some country passed or tried to pass a law that prohibited women with A cup to appear in porn movies because the sight of a flat-chest was too close to a child to somepeople and it would be considered child porn, and that is stupid.
So the discussion we need to be having is not so much how the characters look but how they act. Does Tatsumaki act like a kid? Then that's creepy. Does she act like an adult? Then that's cool. This method is for fictional characters only, btw, not for real people.Hikkikomori is a real thing? I thought it was just some weird weeb phrase Neo Yokio decided to abuse lol.
Hikkikomori is so common in Japan they have a word for it.
There are plenty of anime/manga that deal with that, like Welcome to the NHK!, but if it's not the main subject of the series it's usually translated as "a shut-in" or something along those lines.Btw, the term weeboo is something that needs to die. Native-english-speakers from the United States need to learn more than one fucking language and culture.

Thanks! Since it was never explained in the show I was only taking a guess. I was close apparently lol.
Weebs aren't about a real understanding of the language though. It's basically just a weird obsession with key tropes and stereotypes. Like those kids that would speak in English or broken Japanese cliche phrases and add a desu at the end. I'm all for people learning other languages. He'll I'm still learning.

The thing is, from my experience, when you get enough language/culture exposure you start using words and expressions from that language just because it's the word that pops into mind.
Walk around Europe, for example, and you'll hear the youth talking in their native language and then suddently an english word or expression, perfectly translatable, that they pick on either in class or some movie/tv show/videogame.Yes, this can be annoying, I have a friend that back in high scholl went trough a phase where he would say an english word in every sentence he spoke, glad that is over. But this is a normal phenomenon. You don't have to be fluent in the language or even activily be learning the language to assimilate words and expressions. So having a derrogatory word for people going through a normal process of culture/language mixing is proof that the United States need a better focus on getting kids to know more than one language, specially when you have such a high percentage of spanish-speaking latinos in the country. How is spanish class not a norm in your schools, along side english and math? It baffles me.

I see your point. But Weeb isn't for the normal every day folks though. It's an extreme end of people who are interested in Japanese culture. Basically the people that think they can live like an anime character, which is often not how real Japanese people live. It's fine to get a jump start in interest into the culture through media but people don't always take the steps to actually learn the difference. But that's a problem across the board when everyone is getting access to media but are still far removed from the culture/country. People can pick up the wrong things and don't adjust view points.
I can only guess that making Spanish mandatory would have many people clutching their pearls. Spanish, French, German and the rare schools that offer any Asian languages are a blessing though. I'd wish they'd have the interest in offering any of the Native American languages as a course.
At any rate getting off topic lol. I forgot which thread this was. Long story short. Not knocking people's attempts to learn another language. Hikkikomori was just a term that got thrown around too much in Neo Yokio without explanation.

I've seen weeb/weeboo used mainly against people who dropped stuff like kawai, tsugoi or baka in their speech, not usually against people trying to live like anime chracters. And it was always in anime/manga forums or videogame forums, which where about japanese IPs. It always annoyed me.
And learning a second or even a third language at school is the norm for most countries, the US has some serious catching up to do in that regard. But you are right this is getting too off topic. :p
I do recommend checking the anime Welcome to NHK if you want some more insight at how hikkikomori survive in Japan, how they can get to that point and their daily lives. Once you've seen the phenomenon in a more in-depth way like that you'll notice it popping up or being referenced in many more anime, most likely those set in the modern day Japan. -

Hey, i don't even like regular loli, yes, Tatsumaki is sexy, that's undeniable, but she's often portraied more like a short flat young girl (young means 16/17/18), not a child. That said, i still prefer way more Fubuki. I was just saying that the law doesn't care if you look like a child or an adult, you just need to be 18. That's it, nothing more to say, it's not an opinion.

Tatsumaki wears panties:
!

Tatsumaki wears panties:
Not in the Murata (official) version, and not even in the anime.
-
Do you have any proof of that?
-
The discussion is steadily spiraling downwards.
-
I thought this forum was above discussion like this; but then again, there was that one time where people were discussing Blackbeard's chest hair type in the General Blackbeard Thread, so what do I know…..
-
Hey everyone, stop being perverts and get the discussion back in line and age appropriate. And by age appropriate, I don't mean "safe for kids", I mean "tolerable for adults". PS - don't care if you're not an adult.

There are estimated 240,000 hikikomori in Japan and triple that number if you include sub-hikikomori (ones that are shut-ins in their house but still do occasionally go outside for essential needs)
Yes, it's an actual real social problem.
-
At first, the discussion was about why mangakas (and lots of other things in Japan) are into pedophile stuff, but it turned into lusty guys basically saying they'd bang Tatsumaki

I see I see. With Neo Yokio I couldn't be sure. It was hilaribad.
At any rate. Isn't the new season of OPM supposed to start this winter?

Spring 2018? Wow that's amazing, didn't know that, i thought it would be fall or winter, like the first season if i'm not mistaken
Btw, when the next chapter?
-
We don't know
Please folks, stop asking this question, or just check out r/onepunchman and if you can't find it there or on Murata's twitter–- then no one knows when it will be released.

It could just as likely start in December. Wouldn't get my hopes up.

Yeah I appreciate murata for the most part draws her face as being sharp enough to not look really underage, she appears just mostly short but still like a young woman / adult. Like remember how snooki was 4'9 that kind of thing sort of
-
Tatsumaki resembles her seiyuu Aoi Yuuki, who is also very short (Around 4ft 9 inches tall iirc.)

I think Murata is not too fond on Garou's red hair and keeps forgetting about it.
His hair seems darker, so i think red from the blood, what's the problem? (btw i wouldn't really like Garou with red hair, hope in the anime Garou will have green hair)
-
I just realized Drive Knight didnt job to the MA, because if he did, why isnt the MA bragging about defeating an S class hero that was heading to their base?
G5 could be Drive Knight in disguise.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Matches up too well since he made the effort to spare the lives of the mercenaries and clearly wouldn’t mind eliminating some MA members.

The red tone kept disappearing between pages this chapter. It was just inconsistent. Which seems unusual for Murata.
