So becoming a monster didn't work because Sonic cooked it yes?
In my Spanish translation he was told to eat the cell as is so just wondering if that was just a change in language.
In earlier chapter Gouketsu also specifically told the martial artists to eat it raw as well.
I imagine the cells are actually living symbiotic organisms that infiltrates its host and mutates them.
Cooking them would surely kill the cells lol -
I wonder if this will lead to Sonic becoming a main antagonist in the future. He's willing to become a monster and he's obsessed with Saitama.
He's mainly a joke character, but his grudge needs a resolution, right? Since beating Saitama is impossible, he just needs to come to terms with it or turn into a monster and die. -
I bet he'll tell the monsters that he ate the monster cell and is now a monster. Then he'll hang around with monsters and all, lol.

Not really, we're actually getting 40 to 50 pages of chapters sometimes. And sometimes we're just having a few more pages, Murata is just updating a chapter but that's usually followed with another chapter in the following days.

It's out! So we're back to the webcomic part of the garou arc, Gatling noticed Garou and King unleashed his hellish combo. Saitama's character having the same pose as Gouketsu's corpse was a very nice touch.
And RIP awakened cockroach, I kinda liked you, even if you did lose to one of the bigger jobbers in the series. -

Why would he be betrayed ? What would be the point ? I think OnePunchMan is more "simpler" manga than that.

Saitama is simple as they come, that's what makes it so humorous when complicated things happen around him and then he deals with them in such simple methods.
So I for one would love to see a super complex plot occurring with the Monster and Hero Associations. -

Either Saitama kills him easy or Garou kills him with ease to prove his dominance. That will set the climax up very well. Sleek the only one being able to stand up to Orochi actually makes me believe that he will die before the final battle. Also I don't like that his skin is cracking. Almost makes me think that Psychos might be controlling him

! Orochi will most likely get Saitama'd imo. As a manga-only character, I can't see him impacting the plot too much. I could see them running into each other after Tatsumaki destroys the MA's base, and Saitama would just start yelling at him for being a "noisy neighbor" and then kill Orochi before he can even do anything.

I don't think so. The whole point of Gouketsu's death is the joke. Those pages are not part of the chapters, they could be considered as cover-pages of chapters (the ones following his death) I guess.

Worst thing that might happen with that is having him paraplegic, much more serious than Togashi's illness history.
I really hope it is small and that has no relationship with his postures at drawing.

The cushions keep your spine flexible and stop the bones from crushing the nerves leading down your spine connecting your brain with your internal organs. Image one of these little cushions breaking. You can simulate the feeling by ramming a pencil in your knee.
