I thought i'd look at each chapter and see how many chapters we could cover in one season of one-punch man and this is what i got:

Episode 2: Chapter 4-6 (Mosquito Girl) Episode 3: Chapter 7-9 1/2 (house of evolution 1)
Episode 4: Chapter 9 1/2-11 (house of evolution 2)

Episode 7: Chapter 16-17 (Hero organization) + Extra 2

! I only have time for 11 episodes at the moment but it goes from the beginning to the sea king which is a good place to end it for now. Maybe later i'll see if they can get to 2 seasons. -

On a somewhat serious note, Onepunch-man didn't need female characters to become popular.
Compared to a mere couple of Fubuki's doujinshis, the number of works dedicated to Saitama x Genos is overwhelming.

It honestly surprised me the first time I saw a piece of Saitama x Genos fanart. For some reason it had never even occurred to me before that moment, which is weird because usually I'm all up on the yaoi ships in my favorite series.

Honestly I couldn't think of anything better than Saitama finally getting his animation debut, he honestly deserves it.
Oh I can just see it now, hopefully they can pull off the humor properly because that's what basically drew me into the series to begin with.

Whenever I imagined OPM getting an anime, it was always in the form of mini-sodes; like, 5-10 minutes of pure, distilled, fast paced awesomeness. I think that'd just suit the series more.
I'm guessing this will be a regular 20-minute type deal though?

Gross Ange was a gag anime. It's the only reason Sunrise hired Fukuda for another anime after he and his wife ruined Sunrise's reputation with Gundam SEED Destiny.

The selling point of OPM is that no one, other than Saitama's close circle of friends (Genos, King and Silver Fang) and his enemies, know how strong he is. Half his appeal comes form the fact everyone writes him off as a flake, an opportunist, or an amateur. If they added in a reporter or something, it would mean someone was on to Saitama's strength, which entirely contradicts King's very public rise to fame as "the strongest".

His life stream gotten a "reset" some time ago. Just few new streams came up lately(nothing special).
And chapter was moved to 19th at day when we were promised to get relase of Serious Saitama.
Murata is most likely working on new volume and on anime so we will most likely get less chapters this year. Though with incomming anime and SJ support we might get relase of OPM volumes in english(I would buy every single one). -
