I don't make the models myself I just download models/clothing/hair/ etic online then mix-match everything then pose them. It takes me about an hour at the least to get everthing just right (models, clothing, posing, props, lighting, camera angles, etc). Plus I kinda cheat using pre rendered poses, but I still have to adjust the body parts to make the model look right.
The program I use is DAZ Studios Its the poor man's Poser

His drums! A tribute to the Japanese thunder god! (Not to mention the inverted symbol on his drums...) and it's attached to him! The drums flow with electricity!
And of course, his amazing display of powers. Okay, need to stop.

anywho…I spent the entire day drawing my halloween special, and really like the end result. However, when I proceeded to ink it (something that I do once every blue moon), I'm suddenly reminded why I never liked to ink my stuff.
It's because armed only with a marker and nothing more, I'm limited to producing dull flat lines ><.
Oh how I wish I had a tablet so I could do weighted lines, in fact, I'm off to shop for one tomrrow. (since my old tablet broke down...)
anyway, I preferred the uninked version of my halloween special, and now it just looks...awful >>;; and right now I'm completely unmotivated about coloring it like I planned to.
Perhaps I'll leave it for some other time, perhaps not and I'll just throw it into the scraps.

it's basically the casts of my comic SCA dressed up as the Mugiwaras, you have Steven as Luffy, Mike as Zoro, Ken as Sanji (yes he ain't wearing anything from the waist down), Peter doll as Chopper, Wei ad Ussop, Tina as Amy, and Shelley (a new character who will appear in Chapter 3) as Nico Robin.
