@The:
I just want to see a good Venom portrayal.
Yeah, a good way for introducing Venom in this series is just going the Ultimate Spiderman/Spectacular Spider-man route and make Brock a high school peer of Peters who's parents die along with Peter's parents in the plane crash. I think taking cues from the Spectacular Spiderman( the best adaption of Spiderman to date) and get the starting point for Brock's disdain for Peter Parker/Spiderman is do to childhood jealously of Peter having a parental figures in his life even after losing his real ones(Peter had Aunt May and Uncle Ben) while he was stuck in orphanages for most of his life. This would be fitting thematically with one of the themes of this movie, and the sequels will be continuing which is the theme of abandonment and how that shapes you.
I'm looking for Hobgoblin actually, as much as I like non-power ranger suit Green Goblin. I think bringing him in would be kinda a retread, and personally I pray to god they don't use the awful beastal Ultimate version of the character if they do bring him in. Just go the more traditional version of the character again, while giving a new spin.

@pyromonki:
Oh my god this. Raimi's Harry was way too "cool and suave". However, I don't like the loner thing Peter has going in this series, so I'm glad Harry's appearing.
Also, I really hope Peter gets some confidence in this sequel.
Aside from being memory-less in the third film, Franco's Harry wasn't really cool or suave anyway, he was much more conflicted and insecure about his wealth, and his position as the "rich guy son" and often downplayed his rich status so he could fit in. He's sorta jealous of Peter's admiration he gets from his father as the son he wish he could have. In the second film he is just crazy, losing his mind over his obsessive urge to avenge his father by killing Spiderman. By the third film…well you know the rest.
His portrayal was annoying and kinda dry at points, but I guess it would be unfair to place blame soley on him, since Raimi's deserves fault. In the comics he was cool, suave guy that let drugs envelope him and it put a strain on his relationships.
I think the only character the Riami films has done true justice to was Jonah Jameson. Who is to date the best adapted comic character on screen.
