I hope it's not just bias, but I love this battle already.
"As hard as the wood that Oak gave your mother"
ABSOLUTELY SAVAGE.
Throughout this month, we will be testing new features (like search) so you may experience some hiccups from time to time. We'll try to not be too disruptive...

So much of Darwin's lines were pure gold.
Oh man. The flow seemed a bit off to me at the beginning, but the rhymes just got more hilarious as the battle progressed. Hope the final four episodes are good comedy like this and not political messages.
Ash is gonna need to get some burn heals after that one

That is brilliant. Darwin won with that last line though.
hahahaha Darwin had the best lines
also is that a Wonder Woman I spy?
!
Eh, Ash lost at the true Ash line. Great, unexpected and too short battle.
You ever just feel like a battle's going to be a favourite of yours? Because I feel it now.
Lilly Singh looks the part, but I really don't think she sounds much like a Wonder Woman.
I liked the whole music and structure, but am kind of iffy about the whole "wonder" connection. I even liked the Ash-Darwin connection!

Again, fucking brilliant.
This is so well done by both I'm actually wondering if that is Stevie Wonder.
Wonder woman was pretty good but fairly different from what I would imagine. Same for the beat.
A good battle as far as rapping goes but also seems to be a little off-point with the usual shtick.
Wayne Gretzky VS Tony Hawk
Wayne Gretzky VS Tony Hawk
This is probably my favorite battle of S5 Part 2 so far. Great beat, quick flows, and really witty lyrics. Peter gets a chance to play an athlete in a good rap battle (after Banner vs. Jenner tanked hard), and Zach Sherwin was great as always.
Only 2 battles left in the season
Loved this battle. Didn't know who Wayne Gretzy was, somehow.
Still prefer Tony Hawk vs Tiger Woods, but I'm glad with this product anyway.
I'm hoping one day they do green arrow vs hawkeye vs katniss everdeen vs legolas vs robin hood
or how about groot vs hodor
I'd only heard of Wayne Gretzky before from the Lonely Island song Semicolon. But I think he won this battle. Tony started out strong but got weaker in the second and third verses, while Wayne was strong throughout the whole battle.
Ive only liked the Goku vs Superman one, Jordan vs Ali, Michael Jackson vs Elvin Presley, and even Mega Powers vs Kim Jong Il(mostly because of Randy Savage).
Hey, it's Dan Bull playing Churchill, the guy who played Jack the Ripper in the rap battle with Hannibal Lecter!
I wasn't as huge on this one. They did they two things I hoped they would with Roosevelt, though: 'What's up, bitches?" and him getting shot.
Yesss Dan Bull! Wasn't too excited about the matchup initially but when I realized it was him playing Churchill I got psyched.
I'm not sure I've ever seen production values on par with this one, even by ERB standards. The lyrics weren't perfect, but I really enjoyed the flow style, which sounded pretty unique but still interesting.
One last Season 5 battle leftā¦perhaps a perfect storm of beautiful backgrounds and fantastic lyrics? I must say I am surprised that the battles have been strictly kept 1 v. 1 in the second half except Trump vs. Hillary, but that'll be likely to change with the finale...
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
It would have been fun to get a line about Teddy's infamous performances in the Washington Nationals Presidents Race, thought that may have been a bit too obscure.
Hey, it's Dan Bull playing Churchill, the guy who played Jack the Ripper in the rap battle with Hannibal Lecter!
Ooo, I like this one. It's got a different type of BGM than usual.
I am ashamed to admit that I just now realized who TR was referring to when he said, "Kiss my cousin's ass."
I got really scared that this was the series finale, and it could very well be, but nothing indicated that fortunately.
This is definitely a better Peter vs. Lloyd match than Season 1.
I remember reading on the wiki a while ago about a tweet from Peter saying he thinks it'll be the final season (while EpicLLOYD doubted it would be), so I was expecting it to be the series finale. I thought about the possibility of another Peter vs Lloyd, but was hoping it wouldn't be since it's not really my thing. I just can't get into the concept. I do like the raps better than the first one though. I actually had a dream earlier that the next ERB would be out today and it ended up happening.
Loved it. Peter won with his "I'm sorry, man. No I'm fuckin' not, fuck you!"
Hope it's not the end of it all, but I'd be happy with it if it is. Good battle to end on.
Please please please, don't be the series finale.
No, they can't possibly end on this, can they? Whatever the final battle is has to be an epic of history. Not a catfight between two guys who rap about historical figures. So there best be more.
Now that the season's over, how would you guys rank its slate of episodes? Mine, from highest to lowest:
1. James Bond vs. Austin Powers

Originally was going to put the last two as a tie since they kind of felt more like political messages than rap battles and were clearly biased towards one rapper, but I put FD vs TJ as higher since the lives of those two revolved around politics and the FD bias is justified with the topics they brought up. With Banner vs Jenner, not only did Caitlin get way more lines than the Hulk, I felt like the theme here was forced and they either could have done it better or made the raps not have it to begin with beyond the rappers acknowledging their transformations.
They are back! Back for the rap attack!
YAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!
Looking at those props, what do you think might be coming next?
uwoooh! been a long time coming!
Props in the teaser made me hope for a RDR2 battle, mehā¦
giggles Kudos to the guy who played Zuckerberg, that was great.
In terms of raps I wasn't really feeling it and none of the bars stood out or seemed memorable to me, but Mark Zuckerberg's voice and expressions were great.
It took a bit for me to get into it, but overall it was enjoyable, particularly Peter's Zuckerberg. Lloyd's Elon felt weaker since it seemed like a large retread of other characters he's played.
Season 6 is finally here!
And what a way to kick things off!
That's a pretty good start to the season.
As ERB returns, so do I to Arlong! I love this to the point where my eyes got damp. I most certainly missed these. The behind the scenes made this even better.
I'd say Wolverine won that one.
It's amazing how good the effects have become. It's better than some movies.
Guy Fawkes vs Che Guevara
Bwahaha. I think Che won.
I think Wolverine won the first one, and Guy Fawkes won the second with his line "This very battle disproves your communist initiative: these rhyme skills are not evenly distributed!"
! Pretty meh until she came along
Yup, BK lost again. And we know who won. Actually I would have found it even funnier if The Colonel showed up.
Although whichever played Ronald did it CREEPY.

Pretty sure it was Nice Peter. Hair wasn't fluffed enough so it made him look kind of weird.
That beat was insanely good, btw
! Wendys does it again.
