I watched the second episode, and I have to say, that's the best "episode" of one piece I've seen in a long time. I like how you did it so it cut out the useless stuff, but you left in enough for it not to feel rushed, and the editing was great as well. I really hope you continue doing this project. :)

I love projects like this. What programs are you using to accomplish the cutting? Most of the segment trimming programs I encounter either don't work with mkvs or split solely on keyframes.
I'd love to do a faster-paced Impel Down or something.

Yes, our goal is to try and make the anime as close to the manga as possible, with less to no fillers and no prolonged pace. It is kind of like One Piece Condensed but not really as we do not cut episodes in the middle of a music clip (Unless necessary), which disrupts the viewers experience, instead, we try to blend in the audio so that the edits are less obvious and the episode feels more real.

Awesome. I hope you guys continue doing it for all of Fishman Island and beyond, as well as past arc's with poor pacing like Impel Down. If not the latter, just redoing the post timeskip arcs would be amazing since the pacing will probably always be 1:1.

Apparently DailyMotion took down the videos due to infringement on their Terms of Use and YouTube reacted almost immediately saying it was copyright infringement to FUNimation, and I don't want to dispute it and involve the law so I'm just going to have it being on nyaa only for now, will also upload hardsub .mp4s for you console users out there (The ones which were originally on DailyMotion). -
