A week ago, I had some difficulties with my PC.
I was watching a video and it froze. I thought I was nothing serious, but when I rebooted it, the loading screen (the motherboards, I think. Black background, grey letters etc.) seemed a little… scrambled. I mean the words. I though it might be another language, but it was really English, only a screwed up a little bit.
Then came the "Microsoft Corporation" loading screen and then, blackness.
I rebooted again, tried to solve the problem in my own clumsy way in safe mode.
Then, I guess I did something really wrong, and whenever I rebooted, I got the Ble Screen of Death after the Windows loading screen (the black loading screen with the the little loading thing).
Then, to my annoyance, it happened again today (I was only surfing the internet). I went to safe mode, saved some files to my mp3 player and phone and rebooted again to reinstall the whole system. Surprisingly, when I listened to my instinct and didn't start reinstalling and let the PC do its things, like nothing have happened, it started up just fine. As you can see I have internet connection, can listen to music, have all my files etc.
I'm a little worried though if this might happen again and again. I'm fairly sure it's not a virus, but I'm afraid there's something wrong with one of the hard-wares.
Some infos that might help:
Windows 7 Ultimate
