Welcome fellow hip hop and rock fan! I'm pretty new to hip hop at least (only listened to ~60ish albums, still not sure I totally "get" it either to the extent of fully appreciating production, flow, and all that) but the genre has really, really grown on me and been quite an adventure. Used to just be one of the ignorant masses about it.
