I've very disappointed that Megalo doesn't sound like a speaky toy.

The voices for the Fishmen all fit, but aside from Hody and maybe Zeo I don't think that they're all that memorable.

It's definitely nice to see Tate doing some animating again, even if the sequence this time wasn't as action-packed as others he's done in the past. I hope he does stuff for Luffy's with Hody.

Mmm, little bit disappointed with Tate's scene, wasn't his usual level, but good nonetheless.

Episode itself lacked content, was a bit boring for me. I like the new voices, specially Hody.

Pretty good episode, as one of my favorite chapters in this arc i think it was handled somewhat well, a little dissapointed they didnt have hody with one of the pirates in his mouth like it was in the manga. And is hody's fin supposed to be black, shouldnt it be the same color as his skin? Seems like an error (and funimation still sticking with Hordy is really starting to bug me too). As for tate im not a fan of his, we had some good animation from him in past arcs but i feel like hes getting worse at keeping character detail and designs since its getting looser and looser.

Animation was handled well. Only complaint would be directed at Funimation itself - not Toei - for their continual attempts to piss me off with these subs. Hordy? Splash and Spratta?
Also, what is this "jammon" stuff? I don't remember it in the manga at all.

Have to say, anime's starting to trend backwards from the post-Marineford upwards movement. A lot more dragged-out comic relief sequences that just really aren't that funny.

So you didn't see the scene where Gyro and his men were on the bubble, bloodied and beaten?

Overall, it was a good episode.
The quality in the animation during Hody's rampage was really cool. Nami and Camie also had some extra detail put into their irises.
I don't know about you guys, but the way Neptune says "Jamon" sounds so cool. It's like he's half-Jamaican or something. XD
The Splash and Splatter moment was pretty funny, but hopefully they won't overdo it in any future episodes

As for the bad, Nami's face looked a bit off in some parts.

Also, Daruma has the exact voice I predicted he would get.

I loved this episodes so much! Hody is so awesome and the voices for all NFP fit very well!

Nice episode. Wasn't too impressed with Hody though. Arlong could basically do the same without being in the middle of the ocean or needing steroids and currently he will be fodder for the Straw Hats. Probably even Usopp and Nami would be able to deal with him. And the Big Three and the Slightly Less Bigger Three would probably crush him

Meh, didn't particularly like this episode. Slower paced than the previous ones, and Tate's work during Hody's rampage was rather unimpressive. Also boo at the censoring, underwhelmed one of Hody's very few badass moments.

I liked the ep but the dragged parts were really annoying. Instead of ryu- ryu- ryu- ryu- ryu- ryu- ryu- ryu- RYUGU PALACE !!! I'd rather see Zoro walking with the ammo knights in the forrest or Franky getting to the Sunny.

For me this was kinda normal episode not special or boring just your normal one piece episode. I had to laugh though when luffy cut off pappug's intro about himself.

I find it weird that the Liutenants weren't named. So the anime viewers are going to wait 17 episodes to learn of their names and species?
Hodys "rampage" was pretty dissapointing. It was cool when he swam, but as soon as he went onto the ship it just…died. In the manga he tore through that ship and its crew like a proper, berserk monster- flying in with a crewmember in his jaws and sending others flying, Gyro attacks, Hody fucks him up, gets promptly shot in the back while doing it, and then looks around with a "you gonna DIE" face. No wasting time, no standing around. And then only after maiming them all singledhandedly does he finish them off with the mast.
In the anime, he just... stands around. Gets shot at. Gyro charges at the unmoving fishman. Hody bites Gyros hand. Throws the mast. End.
For all the padding out at the store, I'd really hoped they wouldn't cheap out on that scene.

Man…it's like, if anyone ever wanted a degree in time-wasting in anime, or padding, they should study at TOEI University.

With effective screenwriting and directing, and without any BS, all the events in this ep could've easily been done in 2 minutes, and it would've been a much better experience, if only for the action scene that would've had had much more impact that way.
