So sick of the snow...Finland. (Tampere being the town and the lake is called Näsijärvi.) It was actually really warm on the ice, because in the woods the trees create shadows and little sunlight gets in. But since a frozen lake has nothing but snow under a bright cloudless sky, the sun had a perfect opportunity to warm us up~

You know, I was fine with the snow since we've had nothing but bright and sunny spring days for almost two weeks. But then yesterday a snow storm hits and it's still going on. It was hilarious to log in to tumblr and see all the Finns exclaiming SPRING IS CANCELLED.

It's always safe to do that! I've really loved these photos you've been posting so far. I don't know if it's something you're simply used to, what with living there and all, but to me, it seems like you're surrounded by some pretty breathtaking nature. Between that and how much fun you appear to be having with these, they're a real joy to me. Keep posting them as long as you have more to post, I say!

Curved branch: There is some focusing issues here. The focus is on the lower left corner more than the wing like branch on the top of the subject branch. Were you using auto-focus for this one? You could have used manual focus (or multiple focus points in auto-focus mode) to balance the focus a bit.
Dirty icicles: There are some focus issues again. Your main subject is out of focus and the wall behind is sharply in focus. I like this picture, and would have liked it better if you could have focused it better.
The sign: Focusing is perfect here and so is the spatial balance. You could have moved to let the sign post align with the border between the green and the rest, that would have given a nice division effect.
Cone solitude: Color filtering (and some more zooming) would have made this picture better. The branches have green here and there and you could have used this to make the cone stand out more. -

Oh, just a hobby for now. Even the camera with which I'm taking these pictures isn't mine. I just had a course on photomanipulation and animation, so I'm trying to put what I've learned into practice. My passion is in editing, but I definitely wouldn't mind getting my own camera someday and honing my skills.

but I have some delicious photos take during Christmas… I mean Easter (that snow could have fooled me, it was hard to tell which Holiday it is any more).!
I've mentioned those bakings in thread about countries. They are called Mazurki ( singular: Mazurek) and are traditionally served during Easter. Those were decorated by me and my brother - I've decorated the snail and the bee, my brother decorated the butterfly and the egg"I'm a bad guy! I guess its awesome that I'm 21 and went to the USA cause their legal drinking age is higher than Australia. I loved the states, especially New York and Chicago. But yes I would like to explore it more, the housing designs are so different to the houses here in Australia :P. Everythings different its cool.
