Brace yourself for one hell of a long anime arc.
It looks like they're keeping their little fillers that crisscross with the canon from Impel Down and Marineford and multiplying it by five. Though this episode's weren't bad (7 minute recap fuck yeah), I can tell it's gonna get rough; we're way too close to the manga.
Good episode, I guess. The fight scene was different from the manga, but in a much better way. Looks like Shirley is gonna be .. a lot more colorful than I expected – but 's all cool. Looking forward to how they handle Big Mom's "intro."

I actually like Fukaboshi's voice, but the other two princes look much more goofy than I expected.
Recap was a bit long in the tooth, and I'm getting sick of the Narrator yammering on about Marineford like he thinks we have the attention span of goldfish.
But aside from that, excellent episode. Franky had me rolling in the beginning and the Gear Second scene was fantastic, kudos to whoever animated it (Kuroyanagi?). I don't think Fukaboshi's voice fits him that much, but there've been worse miscastings before.
Yes it would be nice if they would cut back on the recaps instead of extending them.
Toei's still fucking up Luffy's Gear second again. I guess Oda's okay with it, since he probably would have mentioned that to them a while ago.
Besides the long recap, it was a decent episode.
Good to see that Toei's throwing in some mini-filler to flesh out the whereabouts of the other Straw Hats.

LOVE Fukaboshi's voice - it really sounds like a young prince kind of voice, all formal and stuff, but kind. Manboshi's just as I pictured and as for Ryuboshi… I was really hoping he'd keep some dignity with his voice cast, but I guess we'll have to wait for some more serious scenes to get stuff like that. Though I am getting some good nostalgia from the days of Igaram. XP

All of these timeskip episodes have been nothing short of excellent, have no idea what some of you are talking about.
Jokes come alive, I even find myself laughing at the Sanji stuff
All the colors, excellent voice cast, don't see that much at all wrong with these episodes.
The two neptune brothers actually made me laugh too. Fukaboshis colors may take some getting used to, but their nice. Love the way they portrayed him, very confused about the law. I agree with the person that said he's like a young prince. They nailed that
I always figured Fukaboshi to be 22-25 judging from Shirahoshi and guessing the siblings are at least 2 years apart. Manga-wise I like Ryuboshi best, but anime-wise it's definitely Fukaboshi.

Decent. A few moments were poorly drawn (Fukaboshi looked weird often), but the Gear Second scene was good.
The animation of Luffy grabbing the others and going up to the ship was really cool. Takes me back to when fights had
much more animation for attacks than the standard "Flash, Bang Boom!" of the standard fast fights now.
I've gotta admit that Nami looked really cute in this episode in general, as well as the mermaid chicks.

I remember when they used to translate Blackbeard's name as "Teech", but later on, it was changed to "Teach".

Me too! The staff that did this episode, and maybe the next one, is 5 stars IMO. I wish all eps were this calibur.

To most of you guys the episodes are very good animated (both quality and artwork) if you only focus on the Strawhats and so. I feel you have to see the other characters to determine how well draws it was each episode 
And it doesnt even need to be hamo or hyouzou (which looked retarded all time). Just look at Fukaboshi´s eyes or nose, for example :V

Liked this ep much more than expected. Most of all, I think this episode had the least amount of the old standbys in the music department since…Sabaody or so.

After the time skip Luffy has only used partial Gear 2. New skill where he only pumps blood to specific body parts. Some people think Full body G2 will be a huge power-up like it was before if he ever does use it against. They also keep on messing up Sanji who doesn't spin anymore when using DJ. Close up later clearly shows us his leg just heats up and its not just Oda skipping it in the manga.
