The title explains the basic purpose of this thread, but I want you to elaborate why you chose the person, the effect they had on you and possible future work you would like them to undertake.Now for me it's going to have to be Spielberg. And not just his overall work, but stuff he produced between 1980 and 1991. For me those were the golden years of his career, and somewhat the best part of his creativity being put to action. Though somewhat simple and childish his movies were and still are infamous from that 11year span and pretty much unkistakably his work.We can move further on down his lengthy career and see how his mind slowly changes. Some of it is inspired by money while other films just feel like his attempt at recreating that original spark, but none of them really hit that zone of thought found in his younger years. Even super 8 fell short…
