I thought Face was a magic thing… Not a pillar made of stone. Ah screw it.
Also, that Lumen Histoire fail.
They'll use it in the next arc.

Skiadrum is the shadow dragon in the picture below also it seems that might also be the light dragon Weisslogia after it but Acnologia will just kill all the dragons when the magic gets turned back on because he lost his power due him being a former dragon slayer that hunted dragons in order to become a dragon himself which is why the other dragons were hiding from him up their asses and why Wendy's dragon was hiding inside her vagina which means she is not a virgin but Wendy's dragon is female so it does not really count i guess lol.
Dragons, Pillars, Panties.
Fairy Tail.
Neat…
Not even one chapter to make us think this was permanent. Just bad things are happening, repaired in about three pages.
Mashima can't hold in the climax for a freaking single chapter. Also, what's with the pointless arguement between Nuts and Gray? It's ridiculous.
"Gimme that book!"
"Make me"
I giggled way more than I should have, FT's dialogue never disappoints

Well, you should aready know, by now, that Mashima suffers from premature climax… :ninja:

…goddammit, this is too clever.
And I thought this time would be a little different from the other times.
Mashima still need to work with the development of the end of the arcs, Mard turned out to be only another one defeated, even with the amount of power he had :/
I was thinking about something with this chapter and about the Edolas (or whatever the alternate dimension arc name was). The whole point was that everything will be okay even if they don't have magic. They can learn to live and survive without it. In this case, it has to be really bad that magic is disappearing. I know that END will activate and control people, but it's quite funny that one dimension has to be told "You guys depend on magic to much, now just learn to deal with it" while in this arc for the dimension that they are in, it's "Magic disappearing is bad, because big evil demon will control everyone, so dragons will come to fix the problem and you can keep your convenience".
You know what would've been interesting?
If face activated at the start of the arc. Suddenly the wizards finds themselves powerless, and the demons come down to wreak havoc across the country and find a way to release the strongest demon. Throw in an approaching Acnologia for drama. Some characters then band together to find a way to restore magic, and are forced to journey and fight magic-less. Some who were once powerful find themselves helpless, while some who are used to fighting with conventional tools find talents they never thought they had. They are forced to rely on each other in new ways. Then they learn a lesson or two, manage to restore magic at last, much thanks to the reawakened dragons, but the country has been damaged and will never be quite the same.
There could even be some stuff like dragon slayers having some form of advantage when magicless. I like to think that their magic alters their bodies, so even if the spells disappear, their bodies still remain altered and attuned to their element. Natsu for example wouldn't be able to breathe fire or things like that, but he would still retain a degree of fire-immunity.
They already did the whole magicless arc with the Edolas arc. They had magical weapons that they were supposed to use instead but Mashima abandoned the idea pretty quickly, as usual, and just gave them back their magic for no real reason. The idea is interesting but Mashima is not competent enough to pull it off, so it resulted in a pretty garbage arc.
Soo…is this manga close to ending? Seriously. The dragons are back, E.N.D. is literally right in their hands (the book), and they even brought out the first guild master of Fairy Tail. I highly doubt they're just going to shove her back in the freezer and pretend that didn’t just happen. What the hell of a waste of a reveal that would be. Even Grey received some rushed closure regarding his life this arc. Does the author really want to drag this on for another few more years? I'm not saying it's about to end in a few months but...a year?
Someone still needs to kill Zeref now that Mardgeer's out of the picture. And someone needs to take care of the Acnologia guy/dragon.
Other than that yeah, it should be ending.
Let's hope so everybody…let's hope so.:ninja:
There's still 3 other unknown Holy Mages, Lumen Histoire isn't explained… I'm guessing there's going to be one last arc. Can't imagine who the enemies might be.
I doubt all thhat shit can be cramped inside this arc.
Let's not forget, Mashima can easily milk this cow more by introducing another continent or whatever.

After the whole "Mard Geer wants to kill Zeref", and Zeref showing up everywhere in flashbacks, I'm thinking that he'll be redemed by the power of friendship.
He IS the power of friendship. It's just too much to handle, so he gone crazy evil, but after they find the way to share it between everybody, he will turn good again and rainbows of friendship will be shooting out of his body and showering the world. Mashima style of course. ;)
So… I made the terrible mistake of reading Blue Mistral chapter 2.
Anyone cares to join me in a long session of pain?

It's like they turned the series into a Shojo manga.
Why is FT getting all these spin-offs?

Because Mashima made a magazine just for this.

Hell no .
Because Mashima made a magazine just for this.
Surprised people are actually lining up and making spin-offs for this.
Well despite the series being bad, it still sells a lot and so doing spin offs for a popular manga isn't a bad thing for many artists I would guess.^^ Especially if they maybe are new or haven't had a really successful manga themselves.
You know, maybe there are more mangakas lining up to contribute in FT Magazine simply because they couldn't stand watching Mashima drop the balls and waste so much potentials in every arc.

–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Hell no .
We have a 2 for 1 promotion with Cross Ange in the mix…
Sigh, Wendy for a while was an interesting character, then stuff happened. Now for her spinoff, it's just akward moments with a small semblance of a plot. A love triangle, really!?
Though I do expect Shiyu to be the actual culprit, just acting nice to use the dragon stone for his own evil purposes. Then we'll find out his lame motivations.

What gave it away? Was it the "This is the the stone that grants wishes, teach me how to use it please. Teach me how to use it NOW!" or the extremely definitely not suspicious note at the end?

I got the feeling more when he said he went there to be alone at times, and also when he showed no concern for where he was going.
New FT Zero out
http://www.mangareader.net/fairy-tail-zero/6
So Mavis's magic is useless, as one could imagine. I do like the idea that they didn't just plow through like the usual Fairy Tail style. All in all, these six chapters have had more impact that the whole regular FT series.
New Ice Trail and Zero out. Decent chapters. Nothing too much of note, except we finally find out how Precht/Hades lost his eye.
New chapter is out:

It would be better if Acnologia was just a mad dragonslayer that turned into a dragon and couldn't talk…
Zeref the emo is back.
It was a pretty simple chapter this week. Not really much to either like, make fun of or hate, which means I already forgot about it.^^
Acnologia is now nothing but a Generic Doomsday Villain, very fitting for FT. Next time is probably where Zeref beat the shit of the good guys, absorbs/kills Mard Guile and then retreats when he's about to win.
Zeref is surprisingly average/uninteresting given his role in the series. I just think "meh" whenever he shows up on the screen, always feels like more of a plot device than a character
I don't think that Igneel will talk with Natsu again.
R.I.P Igneel.
I get it Mashima, Acnologia is Lucian.:getlost:
When I read the last chapter of Fairy Tail, I thought that it was the lowest of the low this series has ever hit.
Didn't Wendy go through this whole ordeal of trying to destroy/diffuse one Face? (Had to research) Charle managed to make one self destruct… Then 4 dragons destroy 2999 around the entire continent in a flash?? I thought that was the cheapest way to job face. I found it ridiculous.
Well it's better than magic being wiped out and only the Dragon Slayers (+ Gray cuz Demon Slayer) being the only ones with magic to use "somehow" :ninja: ..well it wouldn't have been much better
Now this latest chapter, Fairy Tail is really starting to seem bland -for lack of a better word
Actually, it's 5 dragons. :ninja:
Haha.
Why don't all the dragons just fly over and defeat Acnologia, and help with E.N.D? Too convenient I guess but, hey, that's what happens when you make super powerful dragons pop out of people's bodies. They can't just fly around the continent in a few seconds then sit around posing trying to look badass. They have to keep doing stuff. You can't just write them in the story to do one very convenient thing and then forget about them. At least make up some lazy excuse of a distraction to occupy their time.
Only time will tell since they just got here so we'll see.
I was wondering how could mere 4 dragons clean up thousands of faces all across the continent in a blink until I remembered how small FT's world is.
How can Santa Claus deliver all that presents at one single night? Because it's magic.
He could have easilly added lightning and poison dragons. Speaking of Cobra, what was the point in Jellal vs Oracion Seis?

I think it´s supposed to set up a potential cooperation or even merging between OS and Jellal´s guild thing.

Mashima stays true to Five-Man Band trope. Then again those two don't have Dragonslayer as the 2nd generation ones are Lakrima-powered.
Actually, it's 5 dragons. :ninja:
Haha.
The 5th being Igneel … Who is fighting Achnologia
The other 4 took care of faces ... ninja

I remembered Igneel was fighting Acnologia after posting, but I guess I didn't care enough.
