Starship Troopers was the first R rated movie I could legally go see (the day I turned 17 I was all like , I'm gonna go buy my OWN ticket to the violentest nudity-filled movie I can find!) So that kinda bums me out.
I wonder how different the Bug designs will be, I loved the various species we saw in the first one.

Could they just animate the last five episodes of the tv series that were written and recorded, but never animated… and just call it a new movie instead?

The original has some nice effects for a movie of it's time, but I'm not sure how well it would work in this generation. No. Not for the effects. I'm talking about the type of humor and political satire. Unless they revamp those elements and make it modern… I dunno.
I might see it. I want to see what they can do with the alien designs(they showed up in Metal Slug 3... I can't turn down a second chance to see them)
