      I'm a big hypocrite… I don't believe in God but I love Christmas! 81

Just to much cute craft and I do love the idea to give something nice to the persons you care about.

I want to share my very first ginger bread house with you! I bout a pre made ginger bread house kit from Ikea and put it together! (Like anything else you get from there...).

I "glued" all the house parts together with melted sugar (be careful if you use it, VERY hot and nasty, but works like a charm when done right). I went lazy and bought Bett Crocker decorating icing and used candies!
      Gotta love Jelly beans!

Now Show me your holiday pics please!

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice! ~Scooter.

Never expected to see anything this flashily-Christmasy in Japan, but there it was, in Sendai, the other night. Taken with my phone from a moving car…

I haven't got anyone but will probably post some when we get around Christmas Eve.

By the way, you call yourself a hypocrite… Funnily enough, that's one of the few points that makes Denmark good, because you easily can be an atheist and celebrate Christmas here. Originally it was a completely heathen celebration of solstice, where people just happened to eat lots of food, drink their brains out and give each other presents. When Christianity later came to Denmark, they decided to make a religious feast out of it because the birth of Christ is close to the Christmas days. But in the end, it's the Christians who took over a heathen tradition, so they are more of some hypocrites celebrating something non-religious if anything. Actually, the Danish word for Christmas is "jul", directly taken from the heathen term "Yule". We do have a literal translation of "Christmas", but it is never used, as it in our country is a secular, not a religious celebration.
So even though Christmas came to the states with a Christian base, if you look back, it's you who are not hypocrite for celebrating it without believing. xD

From what we learned in R.S, Christ was born in August ._.
