It's odd to me that the initial premise of Heroes was Alphonse and Shareena's Kingdom VS Veronica's Kingdom, but there's only like two characters for the latter, and now like a shitload for the Fire Giant stand-in people.

Veronica's kingdom used the summoning ritual, so it didn't use native generals, like the fire nation, the ice tribes and the hel domains do.

Nah, only Lif was confirmed as the first king of Askr. Thrasir is unknown, but probably the first queen of Emblia since she looks like Veronica.

I can't imagine the beast characters are going to be completely useless when not transformed.
Perhaps they get a boost in stats. We already have skills like [stat] Wave where the character gets a boost in stats every odd/even turn. Maybe it's the same thing here. Then again, if you notice in the video: Tibarn was able to move three squares in hawk form. Maybe that's a factor.
What I'm looking forward to: This could mean beast units become common during holidays. Wouldn't be shocked to see Panne around Easter.

Beast units might be able to make token counterattacks when they're untransformed like in radiant dawn, but little else

of course she is. That is all there is to countries, royal families. My annoyance over every relevant character in FE being a prince/princess aside, I am really digging both Eir and Hel designs. A shame they are being used on mobile exclusive characters. The other two whatever.I like the ticket. With the game magically knowing which color you want and leaving it out from the summoning sessions, not wasting orbs just to start it is a good thing. The tickets could just open the session without summoning any character, though, but let's not give them ideas.

Also, Alfonse mention Lif as the first king in the opening cutscene in Aether Raids.

I would imagine them to be like the dragon characters, to just transform as soon as they're attacked or attack.

Book 3 has some interesting concepts. Finally we see the Askr parents, and while Gustav is certainly harsh to Alfonse (and Sharena), I wanna see what made him change his ideals. In fact it seems likely the death of Sharena the trailer teased(?) will really put Alfonse through a trial. I don't know what happened to Fjorm, she wasn't even acknowledged lol.
A kingdom of the dead isn't something new, but it has me thinking of that one vampiric/goth "leak" for three houses before the trailer was shown off. Starting things off with a heavy metal song was also pretty ballsy.

I like the characters, but not enough to pull. Only character from this event I'm interested in is Cecilia, and she's free. So I'm saving up until my man is in my arms.
That said, I need to stop wasting orbs on the Hero Fest just because of the free tickets. I'm back down to 271 because I keep spending orbs on bullshit. Can't wait for TT to start, half because I want to raise some more Merit and half because I want more orbs.

So, what's with their random-ass weapon and specialty assignments? It just feels weird when they slap a pegasus or magic to someone who never used in, in the games proper.

I don't really mind with the holiday stuff, as that is supposed to be silly, fun situations. But situations like Elincia suddenly becoming a horseback mage or Nino suddenly riding a pegasus does make me raise my eyebrow.

The TT+ bonus units have been posted, and if you want extra points, you had better gotten at least one Christmas unit from last year or get one of the new ones this year.
I'm annoyed cause I recently Merit maxed Christmas Tharja not too long ago. So, I'll throw in Christmas Chrom. Hopefully I can manage a good TT+ team with him.
