Hi in Synkkä-The-Reaper pleased to meet y'all. You can call me Syn, Synkkä, or Reaper just for the love of all things dark and evil do not call me Sunny. I don't know why but some people just insist on calling me Sunny:getlost:. Anyhoo~ I'm from the east coast of the United States, i'm of high school sophomore/junior age(not too comfortable giving out my exact age.) I speak a few languages, German, Finnish, Mandirin Chinese and a few others, I might make a few mistakes however.
So a few other facts about me…
Besides One Piece my favorite Anime/manga are Bleach, Naruto, Hetalia & Durarara (dont hurt me seriously, I know how there is a lot of wars between the fans of these series.)
I play the alto saxophone
My favorite colors are black, purple, gold, greens, blues, and silver.
I love horror movies and ghost stories.
Yes I am infact a girl, my name really is Synkkä(it means the grim in Finnish), and unlike many of the girls in my school I do not have a boyfriend(I dont really grasp the concept of dateing in high school)
So any way Hi and i'm pleased to meet y'all
Greetings and Salutations and all that jazz

WELCOME
"Synkkä"? You're probably the only person on Earth with that name. Are you sure about using it as an username?
-
Welcome to Arlong Park!
Why not use it as a username, it's pretty cool
-
Thanks  and ya I'm sure about using it as my username. I'm not really known as my real name in school because people have difficulties pronouncing it and i'm quite certain i'm not the only person named Synkkä its a popular name in Finland at least thats what my cousin from there says. Its like the name Rain in America, not the most common but there are a few. Thanks for your concern though.
Thank you very much Ronin-sama

Welcome to AP! :D You seem really interesting. What motivated you to learn so many languages? English, Chinese, Finnish, and German is quite an interesting mix. And Syn reminds me of someone… :D
-
Why thank you My grandparents on my mother's side came directly from Finland and my grandmother on my father's side came from Germany. They have a hard time with English so I had to learn Finnish and German to communicate with them. I also know Latin, Italian, Romanian, Russian, Japanese and a bit of French, along with Chinese I just thought that they were cool languages and wanted to try them. I'm not perfect with any of the languages though, I'm hardly fluent.
Who does Syn remind you of?

That is an amazing mix. :D Latin and those Asian languages could not have been easy! Out of curiosity, which gave you the hardest time? In light of the English, Finnish, and German that you had already learned.
Syn just reminds me of a friend. :)

Well…..they each were difficult in one way or another, but I think Japanese and Chinese were the hardest for me to speak because of the different phonetic stresses on certian parts of words. The characters were not as hard as the Russian Cyrillic script. French and Italian were difficult because they "flow" different than other European languages and Asian. Where German and Russian have very pronounced syllable and a "harsh bark" to them, Italian, French and even English are "flowing" languages, syllable are more slurred. So really all of the languages were difficult. Latin was really easy because mostly every other language is derived from it.

Still wasn`t able to learn it

There there, it can be a very difficult language to learn, dont feel upset about it :)
