I don't think Rebecca is that strong, specially Burgess-Bart-Luffy strong. She will be important in this arc but not because of her stregth. What's important about her is the reasons she has to kill "Mingo". This reasons will probably trigger Luffy's anger towards him.

Block A is done and I will be very surprised if Bart doesn't win block B. Cavendish can be Lucy's rival on block C, or maybe win block D. Also, I bet Bellamy is in block C as well. About block D, I don't know, maybe Cavendish (if he isn't in Lucy's block) or a new character. Rebecca still has a chance though (slight IMO).
WTH is with this chapter. To many contradiction. First of all, the marines should be the enemy, But fujitora acts like a godamn saint. Its gonna be hard to hate him. Then the appearence of maynard that turns out to be red herring, because he turns to be a fodder at the end. Also the apperance of CP0 that make robin sweats all over her delicious face…and her long neck... and her luscious curves ...and her @%#$% (OMG, my imagination just run wild for a moment), which is unprecedented, because in W7 arc, CP9 was stated to be the stongest CP (and Lucci was the strongest member since its founding).
Then again, I like that now most of the members has a personal side quests. Dressrosa is gonna be a long arc. We will have to wait and see if law team and nami's team will also separate.

Yeah, Rebecca's reputation in the ring is definitely in question right now. Some of the contestants didn't even recognize her, while those other two guys are clearly teasing and mocking her. If she truly had the reputation of an "undefeated" opponent, they would at least show some restraint in the fear she'd kick their asses right then and there, but she's seriously being talked down. Also, rather than dismissing them she seems to be taking the insults to heart and looking like she's holding back tears in the corner panel.

you guys miss the point. the problem was that the script was used at a scanlation not that the script was reposted since most people that repost them give credits to the original users at least thats how i understand the situation. Also i doubt Foxy can even use photoshop to that extend. there is no need to start pointing fingers at users that cant even defend themselves

Well, if it is indeed hair it could have been covered by the horned helm when he watched the PH movie. Maybe he had to take it off due to the armor restriction or so (revealing the long hair).
But I somehow doubt that it is him, even if the shoulders match. I guess it's just Oda's new style to add feathers here and there. It's the Doflamingo arc after all

I recall someone claiming that Kuzan was named after Oda Kuzan, a swordsmith. Seems to be very unlikely though.

My favourite types of chapters are probably these ones that jump around a lot. So it was a pretty awesome chapter. CP-0 is awesome. Loving some of these mask designs because I like masks a lot. Also Usopp's cool new hat thingy and goggles. Though sometimes I really don't like some character designs from Oda. I can actually get a bit sick of people having ridiculously thick necks. Sometimes I'd like more normal looking people like gulp Naruto and Bleach… I feel sick saying that. And the way he draws the hourglass figure of women. But don't get me wrong I'm a huge OP fan and I like a lot of his art style more than other series. Like Sanji, Zoro and Law look badass. But yeah...
I just want Cavendish to win the turnament and take over the series.

Stalemate, no side could defeat the other two at once. It is a perfect scenario for the exchange. The situation pretty much nullifies every possible trap.

This is why I think that we have not seen the last of Maynard. Yeah I do believe he was defeated (earlier I wonder if he was downplaying for some odd reason) I do believe Bartolomeo is strong. But some people have dismissed Maynard as weak for this and some think that's all to see from him. On that I disagree. I think its like the first sight of Smoker; he first seems badass. He had no trouble catching Luffy, then bang! some random person we never see before stops him just by grabbing his jutte. We get a hint then that Dragon isn't some shmuck, but big news. Yeah, Maynard is a VA, not a captain and Barto-boy is a rookie in the New World. But that doesn't mean Maynard is a weaking, it could mean that Barto-boy is just a rookie that is just a monster like Luffy.
I think that Maynard WILL be seen again.

Why would Fujitora want to know the number of people on Dressrosa, and why would he want them split into groups of people that need to be protected/saved and people that need to be subdued/captured/killed? Why would Fujitora ask for 3 warships and medic teams?
Shit is going to go down, he's an Admiral afterall. You saw what happened to the island of Punk Hazard when 2 Admirals fought one another going all out.
Also. Have you SEEN what his DF (or random ability) can do? He opened a GIANT sinkhole that practically destroyed an entire building with no effort whatsoever. If he wanted to, I bet Fujitora could open up a giant sinkhole that would consume the entire island, and plunge it deep into the ocean.

Well any time a new character, crew and or organisation are introduced, they seemingly come out of nowhere. Before CP9 we didn't even know CP1 existed. Everything comes out of nowhere because as we the reader only usually discover things as the characters in the story do. There are secret organisations all over our world and in OP, CP0 is probably their best kept secret.
For the winners of the blocks, I'm with:

Just read the damn chapter… after "seeing" the situation he proceeds in dispatching 3 battleships, and requesting a large number of medics because there will be injuries... he then asks his adjutant (at least for this scene) to get information on the number of citizens, where the adjutant questions the reason to, and Fujitora answers that one should count the ones needing protection instead of the number of enemies.
I can't really see anything resembling your scenario in this sequence
