First off, this is most likely not related to my previous problem with overheating, as that was purely mechanical.

Today when I came home after being away all day I turned on Chrome and suddenly the temperature was above 50 Celsius consistently, even while I did nothing. And I checked with Internet Explorer and Mozilla, even going to youtube and blip videos, and those bring in a resulted temperature that's ideal. But Chrome simply starts heating up my system with no apparent cause and for no given reason. I turned off all google extensions, and even tried uninstaling and re-instaling it but got the exact same results. Couldn't find anything specific about this on the net.

Would be gratefull if anyone could help.

I think it might have to do with a sunuvabitch called searchsettings.exe, it stopped when I ended the process.

Okay, as it turns out, this thing was caused by searchsettings.exe apparently. Most claim it's malware, some claim it's not, but it's an inherent part of pdfforge. Even if you don't use it the program still keeps running, so you have to uninstall that specificaly.

I just figured to post this thing in it's entierity just so people can know what the hell's up.
