Damn. This epilogue didn't make things any better. The very last chapter could have been a chance to right some wrongs from the "not-actually-last" chapter. But nope. Still the same, basically. With a bunch of "let's see these guys after some years!" with absolutely nothing interesting to show. Oh well :getlost:

Rip another popular jump manga that went to the gutter.
Kind of feel like it's a tradition now, a rite of passage.
it was fun while it lasted.
I enjoyed the chapter for what it's worth.It's too bad, I believed this could be one of the greatest work if more time and thought was put into it which it unfortunately did not have.
The fanbase didn't deserve this nor does the characters but there's nothing much left to say except that it was a fun ride while it lasted.

At least they didn't jump forward enough for the characters to be shacked up with a bunch of offspring.

Overall I found the epilogue chapters to be much better than what we got in the last few years, though that was a pretty low bar to pass. I genuinely enjoyed all the parts dealing with Soma's mom, and seeing what everyone ended up doing was neat, though there were some match ups that was weird (why was Nene with Megumi at the end there?). I'm fine with not having an onscreen confirmation of Erina saying the food is delicious. My biggest problem though is how the Nakiri stuff is wrapped up.
In a vacuum the whole family meal is nice in concept, but when you consider how Azami's abuse was swept under the table and just how messed up the dynamic was with a chunk of the family it's hard to swallow. And no, Erina slapping Azami for being terrible does not make for a good enough redemption for the crap he put her through.
I'd like to say I'll miss the series for just being fun to bash, but even then a while ago it became too boring to really have fun delving into criticism.

Kicking this thread to say how much the Sanji chapter pissed me off lol. Sanji would never need help in this way and Zoro wouldn't hand over Wado like that.
Why were Luffy and Usopp's faces blocked?
