I must have missed something but apparently according to this there is a Metroid Wii U and it will run Unreal Engine 3

What engine did the previous ones for the Gamecube and Wii use? I find it weird they're specifying that it'll be on UE3.
In all honesty, I would rather have Retro making a new Starfox or F-Zero than another Metroid. Because I've seen what they can do with the franchise, and it's great, but now I'd like to see them do something like that with another franchise.
also, this is most likely a baseless rumor, because Other M barely sold, and Nintendo isn't in any rush to make another Metroid game.
Man, imagine what Retro could do with F-Zero… I want to see an F-Zero game plotted around Captain Falcon's journey of manliness, tears and fire. They could probably make some good non-driving gameplay, too, to characterize the universe much better. Oh man... what if Falcon could actually get out of his vehicle during a race and try to take other cars. My pants grow tight in the midst of this wet daydream...
But yeah, Metroid. Retroid's been the most solid take on the franchise and I don't think the new game will disappoint, but I agree that diversity would be awesome.

I love Metroid without a doubt in my mind, but truly I hope Retro is working on one of those two franchises. Imagine what they could do for Starfox…..
