NBA Season 2011-2012

Shit, you're right. Dwight's not likeable.
-
Shouldn't the Lakers focus on getting a center that doesn't bring the drama that Howard brings?
I mean, Nash doesn't bring years of whining and uncertainty. He just gets his work done. If anything goes wrong in LA, I bet you that Dwight (if he goes there) will be the first demanding to have his bags packed.
-
The thing is, Bynum is the second best center in the league right now and he's just a heartless passionless man who brings some drama to LA as well. He'd be so much better if he actually TRIED.
-
Maybe Nash can do what even Kobe can't sometimes. He tends to bring out the best in a team, and I think he'll do so with the Lakers.
This years' Suns? No way were they a .500 team. But Nash somehow did it.
-
Michael Beasley signing with Suns, btw.
Grant Hill needs to come to LA. I know he hasn't been his best in a few years but we'll take anything at this point
I don't think we need Howard.
Also, Wade is teasing at some changes in Miami. Ray Allen? With Miller and Battiere? :S
What if it's Howard? Damn. -
At this point, LA should just stick with what they have rather than go after Howard.
Let Kobe take his shots, and when he isn't, just run pick and roll with Nash and Gasol ALL DAY ERRY DAY.
-
Surprised in the interest for Lin and Fields, but not for Dragic and Ilyasova.
-
Omg omg omg omg
So the news I got from a very credible source was what most called and as I said was leaked all day.. Dwight to LA for Bynum.
The deal was contingent upon Dwight signing an extension was the only way LA would do the deal to make Dwight the new face as Kobe ages.
After the Nash deal went down.. Dwight agreed to extend with LA realizing Magic didn't want him in NJ.
LA spoke with Bynum and Bynum agreed he would sign long term with Orlando.
Today LA insisted before making it public they wanted their back specializest to re evaluate Dwights back.. Current, State and future injuries he could get.
LA got very concerned when their Dr today said although his back is recovering well, he feels there could be some concerns long term.
LA is still not turned off but it caused them to sit back for a few and re evaluate the trade.
Orlando is scared for them to wait and wants this done now! They do not want to put Dwight in the locker room nor do they want to let Bynum even play with Nash and give LA hope and leverage in a trade.
Jameers extension was linked because he really was fed up with Dwight and when he heard the trade was going down.. He put his butt in the seat he was waiting for.
Look at the rumors all day and you will see how people are hinting all over this.
One thing is for sure.. Dwight will not be goin to NJ no matter what people say or promise.. The magic want him out the East.
-
I don't think getting Dwight Howard is a wise choice for LA, in terms of team chemistry alone. Not to mention injury potential.
Howard is good, better than Bynum, and Bynum has never given it his all. But Howard? He brings more problems in than Bynum takes with him if he leaves.
-
Well it looks like Ray Allen is leaving the Celtics for the Heat just so he would have a better chance at winning another ring. And there went the last amount of respect I had for Jesus Shutlesworth
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Looks like the main reason Allen left was that he couldn't play side by side with Rondo anymore
-
Lakers need you D12. Otherwise game over for everyone cept Miami again :(
-
This free agency has been brutal on the mavs. Losing Kidd and terry, not getting Deron Williams. It looks like its gonna be rebuilding year for them.
-
I don't know what the 76er's have planned, but getting rid of Lou Williams, after how he played in the playoffs? Kind of a weird choice.
-
Harden made the Olympic team. Apparently no one watched the finals to see how he performs under pressure.
-
Harden's been a finalist for awhile before the finals, so I'm not too surprised. He probably wouldn't have made it if Howard, Rose, Wade, Bosh, etc. weren't injured.

If he chokes when there's a medal on the line I say we deport him to Antigua.
-
Welcome back to Chicago, Heinrich.
-
This is awful. Dont go through with it Orlando. This is a shit deal

If there was ever a time to have the highest authority of the NBA David Stern to veto a trade (Which he can't) then this is it. literally one of the worst trades I have seen since the Lakers got Pau Gasol for absolutely nothing
-
Joel mchale should've hosted the espys this year. He's leagues funnier than rob riggle.
-
It sucks that the NBA finals was three weeks ago and the HEat winning is still fresh in everyone's mind because the Heat were in no way THE best team this year
-
Dude it's ESPYs lol. No one really cares. Why do you think only Juwan Cheerleader Howard and Mike Miller were there?
We all know Kings were the best sports team this year bar none.
-
Blake Griffin got hurt during practice, he's back in LA, and Anthony Davis has been asked to fill in.

And now it's been reported that griffin is out for the Olympics with a torn meniscus. I just hope Tyson dosen't go down. He's the only center on the team.
-
Nah, they'll put Anthony Davis in, since he was an alternate.
As for the game, Kevin Durant, Iguodala, and Love impressed me. Kobe didn't play as well as he could've, but that was an easy game.
-
Current rumor is Dwight to LA in a three teamer that lands Bynum with the Cavs. Bynum's apparently more willing to resign in Cleveland which has a growing young nucleus lead by Kyrie than with Orlando which will have absolutely nothing short term post-Howard trade. Houston is also still hanging around in the Dwightmare.
Cavs could also get Luis Scola off amnesty waivers, and if that comes to fruition and the Bynum rumor is true, Cleveland is right back into East contention.
-
Lol
| Knicks not signing Lin is like when Ash let Butterfree go.

Can't help but admit that I see Lebron in a new light. He's proven his will and his heart and ever since they beat the Celtics in the Conf. Finals, I always knew he had changed that Game 7 but I hadn't fully acknowledged it until now. I think I have newfound respect for this man, this talented athlete who broke Cleveland's heart and had to endure the criticism and hate and scrutiny that came with leaving Cleveland and joining the Heat, me being one of those haters. Ultimately he overcame the hate and the Mavericks victory in 2011 over Heat was the event that truly set the Heat's championship run this postseason in motion, because of how Lebron changed. He became a better person by losing and while being the villain of the NBA he stopped being the choke artist he was well-renowned to be over the years and improved so much as a closer that he can truly be considered clutch now.
Sorry guys, don't hate me for this, but I can't help not to dislike this man now. As a player I've always had respect for him but as a person I now truly respect him. Kobe's still my favorite player but we all know these next 2 seasons are most likely his last and Kobe's not getting any younger.
