It's back, baby. Starts Christmas to make for a great ass gift.
I don't even know what else to say because I'm so damn ecstatic. Rooting for my Lakers again this year. Fisher can fuck off, though. IMO he's just a burden now.

Cool, I am gonna root for Dallas.
Too bad, I was curious to see how Kobe would have played in Europe.
So I think that means Dallas is playing Miami on opening day now…that should be interesting.
Time for the Mavs to repeat!
Lets see how Jimmer Fredette does on the Kings. Hoping third straight year with really good draft pick. Other than that real looking foward to see who the Celts pick up during free agency. They really need a new center.

Best christmas gift ever.
I can't wait to see D Rose score 30 on your Lakers. GO BULLS. SEE RED.
finally, go kings!

I have no problem with that seeing as how he's one of my favorite players.
Nothing like the season opening with the HEat having to stand there and watch as the NBA championship banner gets raised in the American Airlines Center and the Mavs get their rings/whatever Mark Cuban got them.
Looking forward to seeing Shaq on Inside The NBA this year and that's about it I think.
I'm going to be curious how the T-Wolves and the Mavs will be doing this year.
HEY GUYS, How about that offseason
So, there was a proposed trade between the Lakers, Hornets, and Rockets that would basically send Chris Paul to The Lakers in exchange for Gasol to the Rockets, Odom and a bunch of Rockets players to the Hornets and Paul to the Lakers, but after some bitching from the owners David Stern killed the deal despite the GM of the Hornets Dell Demps talking to Stern and the higher ups of the league office to see if he could actually make the trade (Stern and the office said he could). So now The Lakers, Hornets and Rockets are super pissed, Chris Paul is pissed and is actually going to the players association for legal action and Dan Gilbert is still a fucking idiot.
Thank god the NBA is back[/sarcasm]
Yeah, that was stupid of the league of blocking the trade.
Honestly I think it's a long shot but I truly think David Stern's tenure as the commissioner is over after this season. I mean, so much shit has happened under his watch (two lockouts, Tim Donaghy's claims of being told by Stern to fix games, moving the Sonics to Oklahoma City without little planning even though that has worked out so far) that he has to go.
Also, watching Dan Patrick's radio show right now and I 100% agree with him when he said that if the deal was Bynum/Odom instead of Gasol/Odom it would have gone through no problem because you could make a plausible case of trading Bynum for Dwight Howard alone without adding draft picks.
I'm also watching Dan Patrick as well. And I totally agree with Dan and that guy that called in the first hour about the how whole thing.
Stern and the league officially fucked over three teams by doing this insanely stupid blocking of the trade. The Rockets were planning a move like this for 2 years clearing cap and shoppin players to get this done and now that's all gone. The Lakers have to go to Odom and Gasol and tell them to play for them after they just traded them less than 24 hours ago! And the biggest fucking over was NO. They had the BEST possible deal in place for replacing CP and that's now gone. They can't trade him anymore and 66 games from now he will leave and the Hornets have nothing to show for him. Owners like Dan Gilbert don't give a shit about NO being a victimized small market team only that they weren't going to get made looked like morons for not trading CP like Gilbert did with Lebron.
Fuck the NBA and fuck Stern by doing this you've compromised everything about your league. I hope Paul sues your ass and every star forms 4 giant super teams just do they can give owners like Dan Gilbert a big FU.
You're too late now. Lakers pulled out of the trade. Idiots.
Now all I have hope for is Dwight. He's talked with 3 teams: Dallas, LA, and New Jersey.
Lamar was traded to Mavericks. Chandler's going to Knicks. Grant Hill returning to Suns. Richard Hamilton leaving Pistons. Tracy McGrady to Hawks. Chris Paul possibly going to Clippers, or at least, not staying in Hornets. So much trade talk and rumors going on, and so many changes. This will be a season to behold. I'm keeping an eye out on Knicks and T-Wolves.
Lakers got fucking robbed. Now Clippers have two young great talents. Scratch that. Two young exceptional talents. Fuck my life.
Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, and Chauncey Billups…..
The Clippers are no longer the laughingstock of the league it seems.
It appears that's now my Lakers.. I know it's a preseason game but goddamn are they destroying the Lakers. Chauncey's putting down 3 pointers like nothing. Paul's stealing and defending, getting rebounds, giving great passes, making sweet shots and penetrating, and Griffin's Griffin. It hurts to watch the top LA team fall so low for me..
I have a feeling that the Clippers are going to end up being what the Heat wanted to be.
After watching the highlights from their game against the Lakers, I could not help but be impressed. They had only practiced together twice, and they looked nearly flawless out on the court.
I'm someone told me to pick the winner of the West right now, I'd be stuck with the Clippers, Thunder, and the Mavs.
Horrible start for Mavericks, and Lamar already ejected.
I thought the Bulls were gonna lose this one with their poor shooting, but they rallied and were able to get the win.
Very great game!
Wow now thats why I love Derrick Rose! Great finish. Lakers are in trouble this year, without Bynam (the man is extremely injury prone) they are incredibly average. The Odom thing still boggles my mind, worst deal Mitch has ever done I recon. That is unless they can snap up Dwight, but chances are unlikely that Orlando would make that deal.
Incredibly average? They were doing pretty good most of the game without Bynum, Barnes and an injured Kobe.
The Bobcats were doing alright until they tanked in the 3rd Quarter. Great first half though and kept pace with the Heat in the 4th, but Charlotte's gotta learn how to play nicely for all four quarters so they don't allow these kinds of losses to happen again.
Durant is a beast, and this shot proves it:
http://www.nba.com/video/games/thunder/2011/12/29/0021100035_dal_okc_play8.nba/
I swear, that ball was out of his hands before he even looked at the basket.
Unbelievable.
Yeah that was unbelievable. Feel kinda bad for the mavs.
But my Lakers win it against the Knicks, baby. Kobe 29 points. Not bad. He made a sweet 3 pointer similar to Durant's (only, you know, it wasn't a game winner, and not as sweet) with the foul, too.
YEAH
The Celtics are 1-3. Wait eh minute, that isn't good. Ah, but at least we won our first game. Dremaine O'neal played really impressive, Pierce was back, and overall it was good way to start off the season at home.
The Pistons played well, so good job.
NICE crossover by D Rose on CP3. Bulls get win, and are now 3-1.
Wonderful backdoor move by the Bulls. Whew another heartstopper lol.
Bulls win! Whew, what a heartstopper lol.
Lakers win it again. I know they won't get too far this season but I love watching them play.
And Kobe is phenomenal. More than he usually is!
That there is some afro KOBE 8 old school shit, man.

If the Lakers were facing a top team tonight those 27 turnovers would had led to a ton of points. But Kobe and Matt Barnes were in top form.
Yeah, season high turnovers. Embarrassing. They had more rebounds, though, and like you said, Kobe and Matt were pretty good. Gasol wasn't too good, Bynum wasn't playing that well either.
Kobe just went off on the Phoenix Suns and Luke Walton put in WORK tonight.
watching the Heat-Warriors game. What a shameful last possession for Monta Ellis. And it's twice already this week. Will ever NBA coaches learn that an isolation in the last 10 seconds of a game is not the best gameplan?

Hell yeah brother! 48 fucking points. Beast. Leading scorer so far this season. Kobe's better than ever. That knee surgery he got in Germany did wonders! He's dunking it now as well. Looks like Number 8 IS BACK
And that was a good OT game by Warriors and Heat. Monta Ellis hitting a clutch 2-pointer, now that guy's good.
Kobe's wrist is going to fall off by the end of the season.
He injects himself with pain killers before each game and has admitted that he "no longer feels it, it's numb during games."
Yea way to go out with a bang Kobe, if you don't win it this season, internal nerve damage will force you into early retirement.
Looks like Kobe is picking up where he left off last night. Already halfway through the third and he has 27.
Also the Mavs and Celtics are having a pretty good game with Rick Carlisle being ejected and the Mavs going on a 15-3 run to respond said ejection.

They won. Celtics did give a good game at the fourth quarter, though. I can't watch the Laker game now. It's not on my TV :@

Don't you live in SoCal, or am I confusing you with another member on here? If you do, they are playing on KCAL-9
Also, I was watching the Mavs/Celtics at the same time and I could not believe how Dirk got that shot off the way Garnett was basically on Dirk like he was wearing a coat
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
And man Lebron and Griffin just throwing down lobs and alley oops in their game
EDIT: Lakers and JAzz going to overtime
I do live in SoCal, but for a while the channel was just ads and they stopped showing the game. But yeah, overtime now. I'm seeing it.
PAU GASOL FOR THREE
I switch the channel after that 3-pointer and bam Griffin for three, lol!
Fuck yeah bynum with the block
And another 40-pt game for Kobe. That's what's good.
That road losing streak is gone, thankfully. Damn Bynum saved this shit.
Seriously, what is up with Mario Chalmers hitting buzzer beating threes all the time?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Man this Clippers/Heat game is tremendous and amazingly close
EDIT: Clippers/Heat is hands down one of the top five games so far this year
That game was amazing. You're right. It was fucking insane. Griffin didn't do to well, but the intensity and sheer emotion from this game was just astounding. I thought a fight would break out any second, especially when Battier and Griffin went at it.
Friend went to see this game but he was rooting for Miami. Suck it, dude, hahaha.
At 11-2, the bulls are off to their best start in fifteen years.
And I hope Brian Scalabrine scores a basket this season, especially if it's at the Madhouse on Madison.
Man Kobe just won't slow down. Has 24 points in the first half and we may see another 40 point game
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
And Kobe has 40 points again
All day, baby. Also, Rose played pretty fucking good, too. That one layup was downright impossible.
