You know that in the anime, there is a Lost Memory filler arc between Davy Backfight and meeting of Aokiji, right? What I want to know is, how is that possible? In the manga, right after Luffy defeats Foxy, he goes back to Tonjis the old man, and then they meet Aokiji right afterwards. How is it possible in the anime that they make filler episodes between DBF and the meeting of Aokiji? Can someone explain this to me what happened in the anime?

Eh, they mess with the story a bit. They never go back to the old man. Aokiji freezes the water for some random people who were stuck on the island instead.

          It goes like this.

DBF ends, Strawhats go to see Tonjit.

Giant Mole pops up, and is carrying a relative of Tonjit's, who takes him to see his group again.

Strawhat's leave LRLL, memory filler arc, then short Foxy arc happen. At the beginning of the Foxy filler, we see Aokiji leaving like in chpater 303.

At the end of Foxy filler the Strawhats land on another island, where Aokiji waits.

As said, Aokiji demonstrates his power to help some people. (Freezing the water and the Sea Creature)

Except for the location, everything is manga canon from there.

I read in a OPW(One Piece Wikipedia) site and it was called "Ocean Dream arc" It was suppose to be based on a video game in 2003 that bares the name. That was really stupid Toei.

Ah, so THAT'S what happened to Tonjit. I never saw the DBF animated, so I didn't know about that. I just saw the fillers and Aokiji.

The filler arc wasn't bad, actually, I just didn't like how they had to change what happened in the manga.

Yah that filler arc was pretty lame IMO, the only funny parts were how the crew lost their memory but thats about it. The stupid seahorse that wanted to become the 1000 year-old dragon was lame, really lame. Actually when I first saw I was confused as to how they will fit this in with the original story of the manga since I didn't see the DBF. Still waiting for Hell-Fansub or K-F to sub that part. 😕

That has to be the biggest change since the first episode of OP!

Yeah, I was enjoying the filler arc until the seahorse brought up a reference to Apis. XD

Yah well at least after that lame arc it became better as we get to see a reappearance of Foxy and his crew. Lol that was a good laugh to see. Foxy trying to get revenge on Luffy but fail miserably every time. Lol I lauged for weeks when Foxy try to freeze Luffy but it got reflected by the mirror and froze Sanji and Zoro in the most unexpected way ever! XD And well you'll just have to see what happens next.👅

PS: A major mistake when Zoro protected Luffy from Foxy's attack.
