I think we can expect the Yonkou captains to be around Whitebeard's level. We've seen impressive "island sized" attacks from people like Jozu & Kuma, but then we've seen sheer destruction from WB and Shanks (e.g. splitting the sky). Kaido was confident enough to take WB on so he must have been confident that he could win. And he has Donflamingo shitting himself
You're right when you say Luffy will need help to take down the Yonkou, but that's only their crew and alliances. In the end it'll probably be a one-on-one fight with at least one Yonkou in which Luffy will be victorious and reach "that" level of strength. We saw how much he improved in such as short time (from the start of OP to the war), so we'll see Luffy become even stronger now. Zeff put it brilliantly when he watched Luffy fight, saying that it would take something incredible to stop Luffy's will to win. There's no question that Luffy will surpass the Yonkou captains, and for that he will have to grow in strength gradually (Oda puts it beautfully when he says "even a big wave that can destroy a city was in the beggining a small ripple nobody noticed" - that's Luffy right there).
However there is a possibility you're right, for example Luffy and Law defeating Kaido, which will boost their strength, to the point where Luffy could fight Big Mam alone. Though I personally think a 2 on 1 wouldn't be an honourable pirate battle.
Pirates aren't honourable :ninja: … It's been mentioned a lot of times in the manga itself, especially when someone uses sneaky tactics in battle.
But if its a duel against men. Like Luffy vs. Aokiji then that's an honourable fight

You are underestimating the SHs now. Luffy is not on that level yet but as always, he will still fight those guys and fight them alone. There is no playing around anymore, there is "level too high" anymore, the New Era has started.

And I already thought that if that happened, Luffy would get pissed off at whoever had the fruit or power. Some people are saying they don't see why Luffy would care about the fruit and try to get it but I totally understand if he'll want to get it from Doflamingo just to keep as he sees it as a part of Ace and belonging to Ace.
So yeah pretty awesome chapter. With bad translations I didn't understand that the "pace" thing was an actual ability so I thought it was some really weird translation where they couldn't figure out a better word or way to describe it and I thought it was a very stupid gag. But now that I know it's some actual ability to make people act like whatever, it is better.
No idea what's going to happen next. Keep it up Oda.

Actually she looks to be by herself and on the run. We have no information on her crew, so we can't determine where they are. I do think Bonney will run into the Strawhat's in the future though and Shirahoshi will return as well(as you said she is poseidon, which plays a major role in the future) Everyone is going batshxt over Bonney and Shirahoshi lol

Are you people really serious when you say Dofla's "pace" is a special skill or hability? CoC? The way i understand it, is just his skill having a conversation or dominating one, thats why Luffy got caught in his "pace", and law in luffy's, cuz they both have the skill to just dominate the talk.

Anyways i think it was an awesome chapter, it sets the pace we'll have the rest of the year. I don think Fujitora is a new character, i think its just the new admiral codename.
Flamingo is a underground broker, im sure he have his ways in getting rare devil fruits, so its no surprise to me, whats intriguing is how luffy will react.
Good to see a calm and collected Flamingo and a Law that does not know where the SAD factory is. -
Hey now OK maybe I'm compeltely wrong and mangastream is terrible, but no way in hell is it worse than mangapanda. I never understand mangapanda it doesn't flow or make grammatical sense and probably gets things wrong. Well whatever if it's not some ability or something then I find this whole "pace" thing kinda stupid and weird. Sometimes I don't like those kinds of gags with Luffy. If you describe it as charisma then maybe it's a bit better I dunno.

And whether MP or MS is worse depends on your perspective about what matters in translation. Panda doesn't seem to be written by someone who's a native speaker of English, so there are all sorts of grammatical errors and strangely constructed sentences, but for the most part they get the meaning right. Stream's translator is clearly a native English speaker, but one with a flair for the dramatic. He certainly has the capacity to get the meaning right, but in his attempt to embellish and make everyone sound super rad, he inserts all these hip English idiomatic phrases and Fonzie-level-cool dialogue, which ends up fucking up Oda's original intended meaning half the time.
It kind of brings to mind the thing about "Which is better? A watch that's a minute behind or one that's stopped completely? Because the former is never right but the latter is right twice a day."

Hmm? No, not possible at all. If you're referring to katakana's ancient reputation as the more masculine script (and hiragana as the more feminine), that really has very little relevance in present day, and had more to do with who was doing the writing than who was being written about. Besides which, the admiral naming scheme is kanji with hiragana furigana for the color and katakana furigana for the animal.

I forgot to put this in the first paragraph: people saying saying Luffy will not betray Law, you're right but Luffy will not follow Law's plan as he want Luffy to follow with Ace fruit into play thing will go south for Law and may even get his ass kicked in this arc, Law told DD that there's nothing else to talk about but Law doesn't know about the mera mera no mi and DD will contact them since Law will be in the ship for a long time and DD has one of Law's den den mushi, it will be easy for DD to talk with Luffy because Luffy have this feeling that he need to talk to who ever is in the other line, Luffy went nuts over what did said and he didn't even said anything about the fuit but Law is already caught up in Luffy's pace and whatever Luffy do or say Law will follow.

Also, oro is heart, which plays off how Trafalgar is pronounced.Oro doesn't mean heart, it means gold, and the seats don't seem to be based on the spanish deck, the one that has gold in it ( It isn't made of clovers, diamonds, spades and hearts but of golds, cups, swords and clubs. ) The spades are often called picas, so it's likely that the unnamed guy is called Pica, and Trafalgar's name doesn't have anything to do with the hearts unlike Trébol and Diamante.

It made me very excited, and the concept of those 4 people representing the suits of cards is really interesting. I wonder why the Heart wasn't there. Could it have been Law?

I will actually attempt to read through all the pages, but considering how extremely reduced my free time has become after the summer, I might be able to get through 15 pages tops, by the time the next chapter comes around.

I totally forgot about Bonney and her powers. It's not 100% sure if Bonney made Akainu or other Marines younger but it's certainly possible and would actually be pretty awesome.
