I've been pitching Sabo since Ace's death(by that I mean the time of the flash back) and though I could care less that he got it, I'm just so glad that anyone who even remotely thought Oda was going to change the dynamic of the crew by giving it to Sanji of all people can see now how entirely flawed that line of thinking was.

Well the long discussed topic has finally came to conclusion. I was one of wrong ones to predict that a SH crew would eat it, but was so glad to see a fitting conclusion and the epicness of the new fire fruit user

I'm glad none of the Straw Hat members got the fruit, but I am also disappointed that Sabo ate the fruit. Hopefully Oda avoids creating an Ace 2.0.

Sabo getting the fruit was something that I knew was going to happen the instant that he came back in this arc. It just makes the most sense.
I'm kind of hoping that he uses his fire powers in combination with his "dragon" themed attacks. It'll be interesting to see how two different people use the same devil fruit powers, in any case. I'm fine with him using Fire Fist but aside from that I want to see what kind of new things he can pull off based on his own fighting abilities.

I think Luffy will KO Sabo & get DD to control blackbeard so BB can take the DF power out so he can eat it and then fire fist to Sabos face then get chopper to heal him and drink some sake after while chopper throws some cherry tree leaves on them.
