So I'm going to try to introduce my friend to One Piece. He doesn't really like anime/manga and I don't think he likes the artstyle very much. What should I do to get him interested in the series? Anything from showing him a video to telling him something about the series.
I was thinking about showing him episode/chapter 0, to get him interested in the plot/story. What do you guys think? Suggestions would be nice!
Introducing a friend to One Piece

this is something i have tried myself.it is a somewhat challenging job.
it all depends on your friend's intelligence, patience and his preferences.
unless you are very good and your friend is not a moron, you can try by showing him awesome scenes from the manga.it should be attempted only if your friend has a good attention span,and/or you are very good at persuading people.it is quite difficult.
the other common tactic would be the anime.preferably the dubbed version.i have shown my friends episode from baratie arc,as it is relatively early enough and at the same time is somewhat action packed. -

Movies are better in terms of introducing something.

I'd recommend the 4th movie, myself; and then the 6th when he finishes Skypia or Long Ring Long Island (I actually think the 6th is the best standalone movie, but it hits harder if you've got some emotional investment going on).
The problem with Strong World is that it's really hard to follow if you don't know who everyone is; and beyond deeeeelicious artwork, it's not much to shake a stick at (since most of the action happens in the last section).
I agree on the episodes, though, especially with Toei's shoddy early animation.

I haven't watch any other Movies of OP besides the One where Luffy accidentally activate his Second Gear and then Strong World so i can't really argue with you haha, yeah i think i miss the part where you can't really know everyone in the crew.

This is also a pretty good synopsis of the series (at least until the timeskip).

I'd suggest starting him off with the Arlong Arc, since that's when the series starts to become consistently great.
