About the whole powerlevel deal.. I see it as more of a scale based on a sole Marine (being 10 units), which is far different than being able to sense someone's energy. At least in my eyes.
I'm also interested to know how it was to gauge himself (assuming it requires Fukurou to be hit).. that'd be a fun thing to see.

And the other two Devil Fruits. What do they have to mean? I guess some of CP will eat them to become even more stronger. If that is the case then my guesses are Spandam and Blueno, because of the reasons that Spandam is too ego to not take one for himself and Blueno just can´t stand that far behind Lucci, Kaku and Jabura.

Looks to me similar like one of those boxing balls you see at a carneval, after you hit them it tells you how many pounds you hit it for. So Lucchi hits for 400x the strength of a normal marine. (ofcourse there's more to fighting skills than just raw power, like tactics and agility)
Makes you wonder what Luffy, Zoro and Sanji can hit (kick) for

EDIT: Well, we didn't need three answers to that. But I guess it's settled that Jabura has some form of the Inu Inu Fruit, seeing as Lucci calls him a stray dog.

If I read Ocean's Translations right, "Douriki" or "Teawase" is the measurement of a person's body movement.
This means the numbers are only ranking what are CP9 doing currently (standing). If they are fighting, the numbers could be quite higher than right now.

Anybody else think one of the two devil fruits will be used to counter a CP9 that has a devil fruit? I'm guessing Lucci around the end of his fight with Luffy. A very pissed off Leopard Lucci charges at Luffy only to be stuffed with a devil fruit. It would be funny if it was another zoan fruit…a rat...he'll shrink, Luffy will kick him and sends him flying even with the use of his tekkai. Well that's just me ;>_>

Yep Blueno surely has the power of the Doa Doa no Mi. Hmm who´s going to take the 2nd DF then? Please not Kaku. I always saw him that strong cool because he was just a fighter without a special weapon or DF powers like the others. Let someone else take it. How about Hattori? At least then the chances would be higher for a Hattori/Paulie match up. :laugh:

I'm sure Luffy is pretty far up on the scale, but it doesn't depend on how many Marines he's beaten exactly. If a Marine is at 10, Luffy wouldn't need too much more to knock them out. So Luffy could even be around 1000 and be able to destroy the large number of Marines he is, with all of his moves that hit multiple people. I'm certain he's high, but I doubt too far from Lucci. The only way we'll ever know is if all of the Straw Hats hit Fukurou, which I don't think will happen.

I never took it to mean anything besides cursing at yourself.. though, literally you're calling his comment stupid. (replacing the word "by" with "for" should fix it)

I have mixed thoughts on the power levels. I was afraid that it'd be a continuous thing, but it looks like Fukurou only has thius ability, so we won't hear any of it afterwards. Just seems to be a one time deal to compare the hierarchy of CP9.
As for Jabura's DF… at first, because of the shadow shapes, I was inclined to say wolf, but I noticed Lucci's shape was similar, so I thought it might be a cat like Lucci's, maybe tiger. But, because of Lucci calling him a "dog," while Jabura called him a "cat," I have to think that Jabura probably does have a wolf fruit, if not some other canine. Possibly fox or something, but seeing how carnivorous and beastly Lucci's fruit was, I want to say Wolf, too. Which would rock.
...Is that a priest's staff? The hell is Kumandori doing?
From my guesses, two of the CP9 members don't have DF powers.
I loved this chapter, and I can't wait for more..

I think the power levels are about the Six Forms . Working in the shipyard or jumping around town, you use the Six Forms more that running a bar or being Iceburg's secretary .

Cool chapter so far, I'm pretty interested in what kind of Devil's Fruits Spandam had in his possesion. I guess Jyabura probably ate some sort of Inu Inu fruit seeing how he and Lucchi were bickering.
But of course the moment we have all wanted for oh so long. Spandam's head, Franky's jaws. That made my entire day.

The Calipha/Spandam shtick is gold, sorry.
But Luffy is way above these guys. I just can't see him struggling with Lucci.
He has PROVEN ability against hyper speed: Seeing through Kuro's and Bellamy's movements and dropping them pretty easily.
He's shattered Don Krieg's armor way back in East Blue. He's insanely stronger now, carrying around multiple-ton gold ball on his arm and flinging it around like a flail and pushing apart two tall buildings he was stuck inbetween. I don't think Lucci really understands what a 100,000,000 pirate is. If Sanji can strain Tekkai to the max, Luffy's going to crumple it like a beer can.

I just hearted the kanji more. I was lazy and didn't wanna type out 'martial art of hitting people with staves' :laugh: Anyway, I don't know if it's really that voodoo and sacred. I never exactly studied martial arts in class except for judo (and that's just cause my teacher used to be in the judo club at his school :p) but Caffeine Nicotine just keeps ringing in my head when I see Kumadori with that staff. (well, he reminds me of Kyoshiro more but eh :laugh: )

I really liked this chapter…what we got to see of it. I just love CP9. Favorite group of villains ever.
And Franky biting Spandam's head = XD Can't wait to see the rest of it.BTW, I don't know what will become of the DFs, but I doubt any of the strawhats will eat them. And I really would not want Usopp to become a DF user, that just wierds me out thinking about that.

I don't think Kaku wants a DF, he feels his strength is good enough without, thats what I gathered from the translation anyway.

As for Usopp, well, he's cool because he fights with his mind, foregoing even the strength of Zoro or Sanji, let alone Devil Fruits. It's the same, but to a lesser degree IMHO, for Nami, which is the only reason I can see her possibly getting one.
Luffy, Robin, and Chopper, of course, already have Devil Fruit powers.
