And I think that you know that an exception defines the rule? Nico Robin´s joining was different because of the reasons I mentioned in the post I´ve linked. That doesn´t mean that the how you call it "let´s look at the past and extrapolate to the future" won´t come for her in an upcomming arc. When did we see Nami´s flashback, in the Buggy or in the Arlong arc? Don´t act like Oda pulls this the first time with Robin. In fact it is the second time and it only happens with the female members of the crew. If I´d like I could actually say that this is another rule.
