Ninja Culture!? :ninja:
"is like a foreign-language superhero movie that's as much a drama and a detective story and a film noir, with high-octane action as it is anything like a conventional tentpole film."
they couldnt just be good at one film type, instead they choose to be shit in all film genres
Fox should focus their budget and time on making a great sequel to first class.
Still really disappointed Darren Aronofsky is no longer on board, but either way I see no reason for this not to turn out at least pretty awesome.
Not sure what to think about this yet.

wolverine:origins is reason enough for me
Never heard of that movie, pretty sure you just made that up.

Wolverine Origins isn't based on one of the best Wolverine stories ever told.
Chris Claremont already gave the screenplay a thumbs up.
as long as Hugh Jackman is Wolverine again in the film as he was in the X-men series and Origins
Jackman said in a recent interview that The Wolverine will most likely be his final turn as Logan.
im not excited and do you know why
its another entire movie about wolverine
about one fucking character
its like, there's going to be other characters in this movie, but you aren't going to give a shit because this movie is about wolverine. this is about his trouble with being immortal, so you probably arent even going to give a shit when the other characters die
why should i even fucking bother
That's a dumb reason.
When written correctly Wolverine is one of the most interesting and complex characters in the X-Men. I can't see any other mutant convincingly pull off a solo movie.

I'm going to have to agree I'm afraid. We already had a movie about just Wolverine what could they possibily make about him in this one? A remake of Origins Wolverine?
I remember hearing about this before…

Yeah, it's not like the character has been having his own solo adventures since 1982. :getlost:

In the article it says it will not an origins so nope. It sounds more like how Logan was in the 70-80s and early 90s run that I loved to read. I hated Origins and how they messed up some stuff. It sound like they are going to dos ome focus on Logan's time in Japan, from the comics that is when he honed his sense of honor from a little thing to a big thing that he saw that made him different from Victor Creed. Well he has several stints in Japan and the big one that shaped him is hinted to have happened some years before he became an X-man.
Its sad to see people in denial

How about you actually look up the comic of the same name?
I mean, it's freaking mentioned literally 4 posts above yours.
This is how you make a good poster Warner Bros/DC.

There's a lot of things immediately evident from just taking one look at the poster.
I'd actually prefer a minimalist stylized poster rather than, crouching and brooding on a rooftop in the rain…I feel like this movie can only be bad. I love Wolverine, but after Origins I have no faith in live action for him.
I haven't been too excited for this movie. Wolverine is far from being my favorite mutant (much less character).
I like him, just kinda eh…
Once I hear more, I will probably be way more excited. The poster is great.
Acually, I am sorta anticipating the Silver Samurai.
I wish they'd give the cowl a shot.
Or a real costume, for that matter.
I like how Wolverine is written Japanese at the bottom right. It doesn't make much sense, but it's cute.
Hugh Jackman is a really good Wolverine and I can't imagine anyone else playing him, but the writers and directors that are in charge of the Wolverine series are the reason for the movies being terrible. I was really excited for this film when Darren Aronofsky was on the project, especially since Jackman and Aronsofsky make a kick ass team! When he left I kinda lost faith for this one.
The new director, James Mangold, has me iffy. He's directed some pretty good movies such as Walk the line 3:10 to Yuma… but on the other hand he also directed that shit fest known as Knight and Day. At least he can pull off good action sequences.
Was searching for a cover pic for my fb profile… THAT looks good! Need to do something about the size etc but that is one awesome poster

They changed the entire production crew. Andf Mark Millar, who wrote some of the best Wolverine stories in the last decade and openly called Origins a load of shit, is involved as well.
Finally the trailer has arrived.
That's a really good trailer
The domestic trailer is out as well.
Both trailers look really good. Hopefully it'll be worth it.
Also, Famke.
The fight scene on the bullet train looked kind of cool.
It looks okay. The bad taste of origins is still in my mouth so I literally cannot get excited for this but I'll probably see it.
