I've been looking for a decent place to discuss One Piece for a while now… I'd poked around here before, and to be honest I don't know why I didn't make an account a long time ago! This place seems great, the available boards, the reasonable looking rules, and best of all, lots of active members.
Speaking of those rules, they say new members aren't supposed to make threads... I'm assuming that this board is an exception?
Anyway, guess I'll start with some One Piece related introduction.
Lemme start by saying I adore the hell out of all nine current Straw Hats, and I could go on and on about why and how much I love each one of them and the undeniable qualities they each posses. But... don't worry, I won't.
My favorite One Piece character of all time is Zoro... and recently I've developed a temporary obsession with Usopp.
My favorite arc was easily Water 7, with Marineford/Impel Down at a close second.
I like slash pairings. I don't care if you don't. But I do. Of course I also like plenty of het pairings as well.
I DO NOT want a fishman to join the crew. I know the thought has been going around among fans as to whether anyone from Fishman Island is going to join, but I'd be disappointed if that happened. I don't like any of the fishmen or mermaids very much that have been introduced-- I mean, they're likable characters, just not crew material in my opinion. Especially Jimbe. He's too well known around the world already.
Annnddd that's pretty much the gist of One Piece related things that have been floating around in my head recently.
