Does it have boobs? If yes, is it one mayor character(in an arc)? If yes it will sale 100% regardless of how much screentime she got on the anime/manga.Male characters on the other hand have to be pure bad-assery if they want to sell out. Zoro is an example and imho Kuma also was such an example.
But people still will rather get a big female figure than a big male figure if they are doubting about getting it due to shipping costs.Sex does sell.
