Anywho. To kick things off I got my new Cardass set today. Fans of Robin'll be happy. There's quite a lot of her. I dunno the card list for omegas (I got Akainu and Hodi) but there's a Super Rare of her. I got her, Luffy (surprise surprise), Jinbe and Zoro (again surprise these are a SR?) Miracles were Ace and Kizaru.

But also! Despite her being largely ignored by the merch side of things (despite her being technically a arc boss) this one also has quite a few cards of Miss Valentine.

ABOUT FUCKING TIME WE GOT STUFF OF HER. SHE WAS MORE IMPORTANT IN HER SMALL ARC BOSS ROLE THAN MOST CHARS WHO GET MERCH EVER WERE.

I think crease has posted a list of how much you could get for a fig if you sell it to Mandarake. But prices go up and down. When a figure gets a re-release (non exclusive) the price will drop down quite a bit.
Nowadays most a male figures are easy to get from Mandarake. Female figures are usally harder to get and it's value goes up after release. Some exceptions may occur like FAZ Franky.
It also depends which figure line you are targeting…

Ok thanks but what i meant is not the prices, i meant the sales figures/numbers. I mean like how many Perona POP figures were sold? Just a few 100 or maybe closer to 1 million? If certain characters figures don't sell i am sure they won't make more and we know what to expect in the future. I still wait for a Ryuuma and a Kaku POP but if other more obscure characters didn't sell then i don't think i will ever get my wish.

So I just got my Chogokin Franky in the mail.

This thing is too amazing. At first I was wary because it cost so much. Thought I might resell it if it sucked.

As it turns out, this sucker is work every penny. I'm shocked that a POP of Trafalgar Fucking Law would sell out immediately and that there are so many of these readily available.

He fires fucking missiles. (FROM EVERYWHERE!!!)

He is SUPER articulate. (AND HUGE!!!)

Metal parts.

All sorts of customizable.

And he looks amazing. This is the crown jewel in my OP collection. Do yourself a favor and snap him up.

Thanks for the pic! I have a few of the POP Milds, but stopped collecting them since it's so much money for them now. Instead I've ordered the GLC currently out and will continue to collect those as they release. I hope they get the rest of the crew/Vivi as well as continuing with the cool side characters they're doing!

The sculptor of Roger and Kizaru is chinese, while the sculptor of Akainu is the pretty much famous, japanese young gunner. And yeah, you will end up with 400-500€ when buying it.

You can usually judge when most POPs sell out quickly and others don't. Tashigi and Smoker (well. Smoker) were wanted a lot but then when released were in stock for months (and still are in a lot of places)

Nice photo~Those GLC are so great. I'm not completely charmed by all the next ones though.
Got my Ace recently and I love it.
One of the think that annoys me is how POP Luffy and Sabo's noses are almost imperceptible.
I guess it's still the same discussion over and over again. POP aren't as close to the manga.
They do their own interpretations of the chars.
They still look nice, sure, but for that price, I'd recommend getting GLC
Same goes for all those Grandline lines from Banpresto usually. Especially more recently.

GLC are supervised by KENGO, the legend who also sculpted DX Brotherhood, Super DX/MSP Ace, MSP Luffy. No wonder this line is even better than the predecessor, GLM.

Yeah OP is in a bit of a same-face-body syndrome for the hot babes, then again, it works, so I think only girls are annoyed.
But, I would love a TS Smoker POP offcourse. It's the redo of the whole line thought that allready makes me excited.

Thanks for the info, benhan, I think I remember hearing about Kengo somewhere. I seem to be an innate fan of his. I do hope that the GLC line keeps the same quality in sculpt as more volumes come out. GLM has become extremely hit-or-miss for me, and we all know WCFs took a quality nosedive.

As for the bodies in OP, most of the hot/young girls and guys seem to have similar builds. The girls moreso than the guys, I suppose. It's just how Oda draws them, and I really don't find it offensive at all until figures start taking that idea and running wild with it. Reminds me of the new Saints Row where you can up a female character's 'sexuality'.
