Well, hi there. After observing this forum for several months, I finally decided to join.
Well, my name is Berat, I'm 17, and I'm from Macedonia. I'm actually quite new in the manga world, with One Piece being my first manga. I've grown up with anime, watching them on German TV (that's where I also learned perfectly German), that's also where I got hooked on One Piece, and other shows like Dragonball and Yugioh. Well anyway, I abandoned it all later when One Piece was at the end of Enies Lobby, simply because I lost interest.
I had actually forgotten about it, until my cuisine reintroduced me to One Piece a year ago, when it was in the Impel Down arc, I think. That's where I started to love it again, and caught up with the anime.
Later I heard that the manga was better than the anime, and thought I'd give it a try…and I was impressed. That also led me to try some other series including the "Big 3", Dragonball, Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Berserk and so on. Well, in other words, I'm still experimenting.
So, this is basically the story how I got into manga. Not that you actually care. 
P.S. I'd like you to excuse my English, if it is crappy, but hey, I'm still learning.
