Decided that this would probably be the best place to stick this thread.

Anyways, today is the day before Pottermore was SUPPOSED to be released (Oct. 1). Until THIS came along. Not cool Pottermore, not cool. All the fans that didn't have a chance to participate in the Magic Quill Challenge have to wait even longer for this website to finally get running.

ON the other hand, since the outsiders don't quite know what it looks like on the inside, anyone who is a beta care to share if the site lives up to the hype?

There should be info there as to what it is. The way I see it's an online community that now and then will give access to exclusive content from Rowling.

I wanted to register when I first heard about it, but I forgot all about it - until the day after the first registration period ended. Well, shit.
So I have to wait till it opens again. And I would have forgotten all about it again, too, if it hadn't been for this thread.

Pottermore is basically a site for more content and background info on the Harry Potter series, and I've heard that there are related games and activities on the website too.

Ah, don't worry, I got in early, but now they're restricting access so even I can't get back into it again until beta ends… oh well.
Hopefully they'll take peoples feedback into consideration because there is quite a bit that needs doing tbh...

They need to get the Dueling back up, it's been down for almost a month!

I enjoy Pottermore, and especially when the rest of the books get put up.

But yeah, they have a lot to work on/fix. Like the money system, eventually you will run out. They should make it so you can sell your potions back to the NPC shops. Equally, the potions are all worth the same amount of points, so what's the point in doing the difficult one that takes hours when you can do the easy one that takes a shorter while, and get the same amount of points.

Sounds like there are plenty of fixes to be done before the official release. Well at least it's good to know that they're working on it /orsomethinglikethat.
