How rare is the special scholastic edition of One Piece volume one?

I just happened to be at a used book store and a "thin like" volume 1 caught my eye. On the back it read "Special scholastic edition."
The book is thinner then most English printed manga and it's easier to open the pages and read the context. Also, the text seems a
little bigger, if I'm not over exaggerating. It's first edition and everything too. I was wondering just how rare this printing is??

Never heard of this edition before, but it certainly sounds interesting!

Was it about the same size as the Japanese editions of the manga?

Yeah. No, It's the same size as any other English OP volume. Oh! I also noticed the pages are more see through. It's also a little flimsy, but it's neat.
