STORY :
He's the oldest Shichibukai. But also, one of the strongest man in the whole One Piece world.
Rhondon has a very bad temper, exploding in anger every time you make fun of him or make him remember of his sad past.
He ate the devil fruit at the age of 5, since then, he used to be a very temperamental kid.
He was known as the freak of Banfora Town. And everytime he got beat up by other kids of the town. He tried to control himself, strugling to keep calm but it wouldn't work...when he gets very pissed off he transformes into a gigantic Rhinoceros five times taller than a normal person, weighting 3 tons and with a body that is hard like diamond. No one could harm him while he was in the rhino form, not even the Marine's most powerfull weapons.
Among the people that made fun of him, including the kids, there was no one that was ever forgived by Rhondon's fury. Using his devastating giant horn, he completely destroyed his town! Killing thousands !
The mariners of the other towns were informed about the danger that Rhondon was causing and they had to use a Seastone to weaken the 5 year-old boy's power. Then, he was arrested on a special prison of the Marine HQ and was abandoned by his family..... The devil fruit simply ruined his life.
In the prison, behind a giant seastone jail, he was arrested for long 27 years.
He was getting very angry year by year, but he couldn't unleash his powers in such place....surrounded by seastones. Lonely, with no hopes and no one to blame....but himself.
No one would ever visit him. Only one person. A special psychologist of the Marine that used to talk with him every one hour by week, under the protection of dozens of Marines always paying attention to any suspect move that rhino could make. The psychologist, named Otto Rank talks to him every visit, and tried to control or reduce his anger, by using special methods. It rarely worked. Unfortunately, the more time Rhino spent behind bars, without ever seeing a single sunlight, the more sad, confused and mad he was getting.
He had a dream: he wanted to see the sunlight and breath fresh air. Maybe that way he could feel better and stop acting like a mad monster... Everyone thought that it was such stupid dream.
But Rhondon wasn't kidding. He really wanted to get away and find a way to change his life...
'Til one day he found way to get away of that hell. One of the Marine's was distracted and left the jail opened. He escaped and killed dozens of marines, including Rank. He didn't want to do it, but he couldn't take control.... He destroyed the entire prison! When he finally reached the sunlight he got back in normal human form. He passed away.
The Gorousei and the Commander General never saw him as a catastrofical problem. But after the incident, they started to worry about the consequences. The Gorousei came up with a plan. They knew about Rhondon's sad story and asked him to enter the Shichibukai in change of his freedom. They also thought that if they treat him well, giving him all the privileges that a Warlord of the Sea could get, would make Rhino forget about all that he's been through, and he could also help the Marine to defeat the most powerfull pirates.
Rhino had nothing to lose, he was very content with the Gorousei's decision. It was the first time in 27 yrs that he found a reason to smile.
The anger caused by the Rhino Rhino Fruit persists after several yrs, but it was more controlable since he left the prison....
Today, at the age of 55, Rhino completely took control of his anger. And now he only transforms when he wants to do it. But this isn't 100% sure.
When he was in prison, he spent thousands of hours every year training and increasing his strenght.
Nowadays, when he transforms he becomes even more stronger then that 5 year old kiddo that destroyed his hometown 50 years ago. He's has one of the most powerfull combat power on the whole OP world. His previous bounty was a gigantic 331 milion berries...
The Gorousei and the World Goverment are aware of the iminent danger that Rhino can provide if anything goes wrong ... But they have everything under control, always prepared for the worst.
Rhino is the one who trained everyone of the CP9. No wonder why Rob Lucci after several hours of training transformes his body making it as hard as Rhino's. Lucci and thousands of Marines on the whole world admires Rhino, due to his power that is today used to beat the srongest pirates. But there are also several people that still see him as a danger to his friends and enemies.
He's also admired for going through so much pain while living in prison for decades and never giving up of his so-called stupid dream.
Today, he is a myth.
I'm very bad at drawing, I just imagine Rhondon as a very big, tough fella with an angry look on his face....
And it gets even more scarier when he's in the Rhinoceros form.
