I really like Clement's LPs especially his Megaman X6 one. I also like Brainscratchcomms's LPs. My favorite of theirs is their Sonic '06 LP.

I really love this guy. He's not particularly funny, but he's informative and his voice is just nice to listen to.

Yep. Definitely one of the best LPs I've seen (not that I usually watch LPs). Of course, stuff like that is always better when there are at least two people who can play off each other, rather than one guy talking to himself.
This lastest Retsupurae is an hour long epitome of bad puns that are somehow funny anyway. I had a whole lot of fun watching this one.

I recommended it earlier in the thread, but supegreatfriend here has done a Let's Play of Deadly Premonition. It is probably one of the most well thought out, executed, and flat out amazing LPs out there. The amount of effort put into presentation is just unreal to turn what is seen as a "bad" game into a wonderful experience all around. Here's an updated link to an easy to browse archive. Another recommendation I can give is anything done by the duo Chip Cheezum & General Ironicus, both separate and together put out some amazing stuff. Their Metal Gear Solid material is especially good. They also do Retsupurae, but aren't quite quite at the Slowbeef/Diabetus level.
Is anyone else here reading the Dangan Ronpa LP on Something Awful? Really, really stellar stuff.
The most apt way to describe it is Ace Attorney meets Battle Royale (or 999 if you're familiar with that.) There's even a little bit of rhythm game thrown in, it's nuts in the best possible way.
Kazuya Nakai, Kappei Yamaguchi, and Nobuyo Oyama (one of the most prolific actresses to portray DORAEMON) lend their vocal talents to it.

Really gotta reiterate that people need to be reading the Dangan Ronpa LP. It's just… totally the best game.
If one doesn't mind text LP's one of my favorites is Let's Horribly Break Pokemon Blue. That's mostly because I have a love of glitches and, well, Pokemon Red and Blue weren't exactly the best programmed games to say the least.

This is my first time seeing Other M. And I'm already regretting it.

Just from those scenes, having no other knowledge of Other M, (Or Metroid, for that matter, outside of Super Smash Bros) I feel it is my job as a storyteller to say one thing. Show, don't tell, Samus! Show don't tell! Is there a single writer on that damn game? For fuck's sake.

I personally like pokecapn's Mario Party Lets Plays. They're hilarious.

The behind-the-scenes insanity is a far more interesting story than Other M itself. Basically, Yoshio Sakamoto is the Japanese George Lucas. Complete creative control over everything, and if things aren't to his exact specification he rejects it. It didn't help that gave no specific instructions to what they needed to do. He even told Samus' English voice actress (a theater trained actress) to sound the way she did. Never mind that he's Japanese and has no clue that it will sound horrible to English-speaking audiences.
Oh, and he said the Prime games aren't canon. Bah! He's just mad Retro Studios was able to make a better story than he could using only scanning.
Honestly, a lot of the dialogue does sound like it was written by George Lucas. In fact, Adam's death scene felt like those scenes in the prequels made exclusively to fill in the plot holes he created. Also, why does Adam exist? I know he was in Metroid Fusion as the A.I. guiding Samus but how does this help Samus as a character? sighs It's amazing how you can screw up a story as basic as "Space Pirates have taken a deadly life form, you must go in and stop them"

I really like Phil.
Yeah…he can be quite annoying (because he complains when things don't go his way), however, he also LOVES video games and good storytelling (i.e. his Heavy Rain Let's Play). The reviews he gives for each game after he's done Let's Playing it are pretty accurate to what I--myself--would give the game. (He's doing Ninja Gaiden 3 right now (meh); recently finished Silent Hill Downpour and Mass Effect 3) I LOVE the huge library of video games he's LPed, and completed (all of them).

I wonder why anyone would attempt a Mario Party LP alone in the first place. It isn't even just because this guy is your usual bad LP'er (hilariously depressing or not). Mario Party and games like it are really meant to be played with friends.
That's why the series of Mario Party (and Sonic Shuffle) LPs by Pokecapn, medibot, Kungfujesus, and mynameiskaz worked so well. You could tell they were having fun with each other, laughing at the games and how arbitrarily random they can be, and with the possible exception of medibot they're all idiots or at least barely familiar with the games and they knew it and that only added to the charm of the series. It only really worked because they were a group.
