Ah, cool…Rocketman! And I know exactly what the oath refers to. :)
Holy crap, thanks a million Battle Franky! =) :adore:
Edit: I just realized that Sogeking is nearly here!
So this means tomorrow we´ll have episode 254 I guess. Cool thing. Not that I´ll be able to see it in the next four days but it´ll be cool that finally the animes keeps going on. :steve:

There'll definitely be three new episodes over three consecutive weeks starting with #254 to #256. BUT I think Fuji TV's Torino Winter Games coverage could bump One Piece off the air for two weeks in February (12th/19th) if I'm reading this correctly.
☆『トリノオリンピック2006』 フジテレビ中継番組予定
2/12(日) 18:00-19:58 スノーボード 男子ハーフパイプ 予選
2/19(日) 19:00-20:54 前半戦ハイライ
Well, I also see "Torino Olimpic", so I guess you are correct.
Well, it buys more time for the manga. =)
~#254 EPISODE SPOILERS~

(The Episode has just started)
If any OT hentai, porn or anything indecent or vulgar pops up, I'll delete the link.
(btw… don't quote this post.)
Finally. i've been waiting for this ep ever since the manga got this far
Me too…oh, there´s not a pic of the luffy moment? BTW, no new opening
i just hope adc fansubs are still on the job
Oh god these comments are hilarious. 'San-chan', 'shiri', hahaha.
On another note, this shot taken out of context…
Hey. SayaMan has released 245:
256 (feb): new ending + sogeking?
well at least one of those 2 things
I suppose, since there are Winter games for the two weeks after 256, a new opening/ending would make sense if they appeared on 257. I'm too lazy to check, but 257 should be the one where Sogeking appears..?
Anyways, I really forgot about Chopper's replacement VA for this episode, so I was surprised!
Yeah, that's going to be wierd, but I guess we'll get used to it for a while until Ikue comes back. From the screencaps I've seen, the animation seems a bit sub-par in this episode. It always goes up and down though.
so what did choppers new va sound like. Any clips?
It's a bit deeper and a bit more boyish when he's in one of his battle point modes (which I kind of prefer actually) but you almost can't even tell the voice is different when he's just normal cute-and-fluffy-Chopper. Pretty good :)
i heard it when he was in run point i dont know it was kinda too idk low maybe (tho its still pretty high). I havent heard it in its normal form
He sounded pretty good. More Sanji action next episode!!
Gah, the voice sucked. It was way too obviously different, unlike Nami's voice way back. I didn't even know that the voice actress for Chopper's sick until after I watched the episode. I was wondering what the heck happened to Chopper's voice.
The episode rocked though, the animation's pretty bad, but the way they pulled off Luffy's superman moment was very nice. What happened to the animation anyway? It used to be excellent, then after Skypiea it just went downhill. If the extra space for the wide screen is taking up all the budget, I'd rather they get rid of that and give us better animation.
The difference between voices was very distinct. It's a good voice, but it doesn't hold a candle to Ikue (get better and come back!)
As for the animation… Some was good some was lacking. I'm starting to dislike the way they draw some of the characters these days, I wish the animation was as consistantly awesome as Drum Island was. Drum had some of THE BEST animation I've ever seen.
The difference between voices was very distinct. It's a good voice, but it doesn't hold a candle to Ikura (get better and come back!)
Yeh, gotta agree with that. Though, I don't think you could really ever find the 'ideal' replacement for Ohtani-san. She did a fairly solid job, but the difference is immediately apparent & difficult to accept.
But as it's been said many times before, Chopper doesn't really have a lot of dailogue in the upcoming episodes, so the change shouldn't stick out too much.
Gah, the voice sucked. It was way too obviously different, unlike Nami's voice way back.
Actually, Nami's back when was really different. The difference is noticeable. Chopper's substitute voice is alright. I'm just glad it's not permenant.
Chopper's substitute sounds just a tiny bit too low.
It's otherwise fine.
I didn't really liked it…When I first heard it...I was like "WTF!!! Is chopper sick?? then of course, normal action dictates that I check it out here...hahaha lucky I found out why...oh I hope the original VO lady comes back soon...
Chopper was a pretty huge and apparent change, but I honestly didn't mind it that much. My only beef with it just stems from being used to Ohtani's voice.
Anyway, awesome animation (In my opinion… For some reason, everyone seems to disagree with me when I say this about recent episodes.) and a pretty neat episode. The whole atmosphere could've been pulled off a bit better, though. I noticed a significant lack in usage of good music.... Otherwise, still butt-kick quality.
More than that, though, I'm looking forward to next episode.
hey that was a pretty cool ep. toei did a good stuff on luffy going berserk and all. chopper's voice was definitely ok.
can someone tell me the english title of episode 254!? ;)
or at least where i can find it.
Apparently, there's this site people call ''Arlong Park'' and it's supposed to have anime episode guides and stuff like that or something.
Of course, this is all just speculation.
hahaha you smartass hahha
Saiyaman #255 RAW is out.
Dang, why doesn´t Saiyaman put the raws up at the IRC channels anymore? Whenever I join, the raws aren´t up for downloads. =(
Good episode! The animation was back to solid, that funky B-team style is gone. Also, I'm totally relieved to see Toei haven't abandoned the end of Franky's flashback, looks like they'll at least finish the warehouse meeting between Ice & Franky in the next episode. :steve:
I forgot that they hadn't finished it. I remember that they put part of it before the earlier part of the flashback started. I wonder how they're going to do that…Franky reminiscing to himself?
Awesome episode. I really liked the creative liberty Toei took with Sanji fighting the agents. Those two mini bad guys were neat. Zanbai banging his head into the floor was great too, and I loved the Rocketman departure scene.
Next episode is looking to be great too. I'm especially looking forward to hearing T-Bone and Wanze's voices. And, of course, zeh SogeKing.
Couldn't help but nitpickingly notice, though… They screwed up with Nami and the Clima Tact yet again.
Was Sogeking in the preview? If so, may I have some pictures?
I'd download but I don't feel like it. I will download the next one though because of well… Sogeking
Was Sogeking in the preview? If so, may I have some pictures?
Nope, no Sogeking in the preview.

I think it's just going to be Iceburg reminiscing back to that meeting, after the Rocketman leaves. Which is good, because I think this was the ideal and the last chance Toei had to implement that scene in, without it looking totally random.
But then again, they should've never really dissected the flashback up in the first place.
@Battle:
Nope, no Sogeking in the preview.
Okay, thanks
EDIT: Though I think I should add a little more.
For those in Japan that read both the manga and watch the anime. You would think they could get a treat by seeing Sogeking a little early through the previews.
I'm glad they didn't show Sogeking in the preview. I hate it when they give too much away with previews and stuff.

Actually, I think they did a good thing by splitting the flashback. It's hard making so many episodes dedicated to a flashback. And I think it's good to remind the audience that Iceburg knows what's at stake and that he does care about Franky.
The next ep will probably end with Sogeking or his shadow or whatever.
Yes the animation is good again but the art itself is still well bad.
I hope in future episodes they put in a couple more good Movie 5 songs like they did with Three Towers (though that's literally the best one). Most of M5's I don't think are good, and even the better ones aren't as good as some of the ones in the past, but I could totally see my view changing because of powerful scenes teamed up with still above average music. Just went on a freakin OP music binge so that's all I can really talk about. Sounds like track 5 could be good for Rocketman. The, The, The Strongest could be used for some certain fights everyone's waiting for…
I don't know if they put any Movie 6 songs in there already besides the first track and part of track 19. Movie 4 has track 2, 13, 14, 15, 18, 20 (in 254 I thought?) and maybe track 11 and 16?
Wow, seems like Movie 4 is pretty-One-Piecey. Seems to fit the current arc the most, too.
Pandaman Sighting!!! this one's hard.

They've been using M6 a lot, actually. Track 17 (maybe 20 too, they're similar) is probably the most commonly used. As I can recall, they've used tracks:
1 (arriving at W7)
4 (the bank scene)
5 (the marketplace)
6 (CP9 stuff)
7 (the beginning used whenever talking about Aqua Laguna, another part used when Kaku jumped off the building)
8 (Sanji on the sea train)
10 (at least one scene, when Robin and Blueno were about to launch the attack on Iceberg)
17 (FF attacking Zoro on the ship, used a lot with CP9, also when Usopp was saying he was going to leave the crew)
18 (a couple of random places, I remember it being used at the beginning of episode 235)
19 (Usopp v. Luffy)
22 (Usopp breaking into the Franky House, Usopp v. Luffy)
There may have been others used also, that's just what I remember off the top of my head. I pick them up easily because it's my favorite soundtrack and I know all the tracks pretty well, except the titles…you'd think someone would have figured out what the are by now. :/
They also used "Maya's Tears" from M5 in episode 237 when Iceburg was in the hospital.
And the movie 7 soundtrack will be released in March, right before they get to Enies Lobby. So, we'll have new tracks there! And of course, I'll import it from Japan, upload the tracks on my site and post the links here like I did last year with movie 6.
That would be excellent, R.Z. :) I can't wait to hear it. I liked the M6 soundtrack long before I ever saw the movie. Not sure if M7 will be the same, but I always like the One Piece movie music at some point, even if it's from hearing the songs during the series instead.

I'm really relieved to read that believe me.
Looks like the Torino winter games will indeed be taking One Piece's time slot on the 12th & I pressume the 19th according to Fuji TV's schedule. =(
But, we could see ED 17 either debut this Sunday or at the end of the month. I'm leaning more towards the latter.
sweet ep, they even thought of the sogeking's mask behind sanji when he enters the wagon where are usopp and franky.
also, i really enjoy how toei animates sanji's moves.
nice rocket man, nice colour.
what i don't like in the so-called b-team is that i find the faces of the characters a bit too long. sanji especially: O -> normal sanji's head, 0 -> B-team sanji's head.
