Before the new spoilers grab hold of this thread, can anyone help me decipher Ichigos speach from last weeks chapter? Perhaps my english comprehension is getting rusty, or the translation is shoddy, but I don't get what he's saying at all.
- He suspected Ukitake because he's smarter than Ichigo. Moronic reasoning, and we saw him shocked last week, but I'll pretend to follow.
- So why did Ichigo consider Ukitake smart? Because a smart person can trick you without you knowing it!
- So because Ichigo DID notice something weird with the badge it makes Ukitake smart, because if he didn't want Ichigo to notice, he wouldn't have.
This is…pretty much gibberish to me. If we are to believe ichigo, Ukitake DIDN'T trick him, yet Ichigo still believes he's smart because Ukitake...could have tricked him? How does he know that? Isn't the much more logical conclusion that Ukitake is not smart, since Ichigo figured out the badge was funky, and since Ukitake never succesfully duped Ichigo?
And the following is not much better either.
- Ichigo realized that Ukitake wanted Ichigo to see that the badge didn't work, so Ichigo could make a "choice". ichigo chose to "protect".
What the hell is that supposed to mean? Ichigo had been protecting people from chapter 1! What does the choice have to do with the badge not working? Was Ichigo supposed to go "huh, that one dude didn't recognize this badge. HUGE ETHICAL DILEMMA! Do I want to continue protecting people, or do I screw it all and run fom SS?"
What is Ichigo trying to say? That he thinks Ukitake wanted Ichigo to know he was mistrusted, in order to test whether Ichigo would continue with his job regardless?
So what, is Ukitake evil or isn't he? Did Ichigo know about their lies concerning the badge or didn't he? Or is the moral that Ichigo has reached a completely impassive state where he doesn't give two shits how much you fuck him over as long as the status quo of protect people is maintained?

I think what the speech meant was that Ichigo didn't buy Ginjou's crap and that he realized that Ukitake might have a reason for limiting him (Well, duh). No idea about the friends part.
The wording was really confusing and I'm not sure if I got it either.

But he says that Ukitake was "suspicious". And while Ichigo might've noticed that the badge didn't work, he couldn't possibly have known about its limiter functions and surveillance. And I really don't see Ichigo acknowledging that he has no problems with SS' actions anywhere. It's all a terrible mess of Ichigo not knowing stuff, being lied to, knowing that he's been lied to, and knowing stuff.

But boy, Ichigo sure has done a lot of deep thinking about the stuff he had no idea about until two minutes ago hasn't he. And I still don't get the "choice" Ichigo supposedly made. What was Ukitakes plan here? Give Ichigo a power regulating surveillence device, lie to him and tell him its something else, and make sure he discovers the lie. And what is that supposed to accomplish? Ichigo had already demonstrated willingness to serve when he took the damn badge! But this was all extremely necesary because…it proves that Ichigo will follow SS even if he knows they're lying to his face I guess?Ehhhh someone really needs to decipher this for me. I don't think it will ever get adressed later, because now it's time to protect people from Ginjo! I have no idea who Ginjo poses a threat to as he havent really announced a plan or anything, so who exactly Ichigo wants to "protect" here is a mystery to me.
Also Ginjo, well done on changing your wardrobe again, but your enemies outnumber you 8 to one. 10 if Isshin and Urahara show up. You need some severe Aizen level haxxing and polite protagonist turn-taking to survive this.

then he quickly got special permission to come back to life, he fused with goku, and they proceeded to fight buu.
vegeta also helped stall buu while goku charged his spirit bomb, and after the battle they gave each other a thumbs up. -

I'm still confused by the nature of what Ginjou wants.
So he needs Ichigo to learn Fullbring in order to get his Substitute Shinigami powers back so he can steal them (because those can apparently be stolen because shut up) so he can get his Substitute Shinigami powers back and power up the rest of X-Cution's Fullbrings (because Substitute Shinigami powers can be combined with Fullbring because shut up).
Even if we put aside why exactly Ginjou told Ichigo this Ukitake nonsense for no reason and, hell even if we completely forget about how Ginjou intentionally set himself up to fail for the lolz, Ginjou is still going about this plan in the most obtuse and unnecessarily convulted way possible for an outcome that isn't exactly clear or indeed worth it.
I'm still not sure what's more insulting, the fact that such a pants-on-head retarded plan was put into action, or that it actually worked since the entire plan hinges on Ichigo being brain damaged enough to not trust Urahara, aka the guy who sealed up Aizen, or HIS OWN FATHER.

Seriously when you make a plan, usually one would think you made that plan to obtain something as a result. That's why one makes plans.
Ginjou thought of a way to sabotage HIMSELF before thinking of what he intends to get as a result. He's a worse villain than even Aizen.

What's especially funny is that it seems as though self-sabotage is the only way Kubo can kill off his main baddies. Lest we forget, Aizen was defeated because "deep down he didn't REALLY want to become strong!!"

What's even funnier is that explanation was made to take down a villain sue who became so powerful there was simply no realistic way of beating him.
And yet the self sabotage was the explanation for (at the time) a simple human whom's sole ability was creating a big ass sword. And that's somehow the worse explanation.

Ahh, right right. What Kubo should have done was to give Hougyoku a limit (wasn't that a plot bunny earlier) and say it had run out of juice (of course that would also be contrived, but way less contrived than "in his heart of hearts he didn't want to win," which I think I'll take to calling Laxus Syndrome).

WHY did Ichigo lose his powers? He seemed to be easily handling Aizen before he felt the need to do Final Getsuga. Why didn't he just beat him without using a move that takes away his powers. It was plain stupid. Why use a move that leaves you completely defenseless afterwards unless its a last resort.

Naruto spoilers

The Jinchuuriki seem defeated so they decide to seal them, but then they reappear in a state like when Naruto loses control (I assume this means something like Naruto's 4-tails mode). The Jinchuuriki are too tough. Naruto is almost captured by Tobi, but then Kakashi and Guy appear! Kakashi and Guy were waiting for Tobi to try to touch Naruto so he'd be materialized. Kakashi: "We have the Sharingan on our side too." Guy: "And Konoha's noble green beast as well!"

! Wow, Kakashi certainly jobbed the rest of the Mist Swordsmen pretty quick. And where was Guy before this? Last I can remember of him, he had just beaten Kisame. Did he show up again after that? Eh, whatever. Considering Kishimoto is having Kakashi and Guy show up for this, though, is a good indication that Tobi is someone from Leaf Village, at least. We'll see.

False. If the Magnificent Hair Extension Attack was a true transformation Ichigo should have actually fought Aizen for a bit after using it, but all that happened was Ichigo gets clad in bandages–>big black blob launched at Aizen. Like Luffys CoA hardening it's a visual change associated with a new move, not really a transformation.
Besides, I think what Hinscher meant was that Ichigo was beating even Tentacle Rape Aizens ass six ways till sunday just fine in his "long haired sword-chained-to-arm" form, pre transformation.But you guys can't discuss the shittiness and stupidity of Ichigo vs Aizen without mentioning two little words:
"Aizens Bankai".
Hell, "Aizens shikai" will suffice. -
