Man, man what can I say! Why haven't I seen stuff from you before! Really like the simplistic designs and it all looks so neat and clean. I might actually picture this in a magazine (one about B-Ball of course)! The whole concept of the bearz and B-city is hilarious. Count me in for a part 2!

I'm actually having a hard time telling how much is comedic and how much is serious, to be perfectly honest.
I think for me it's pretty straightforward, albeit more subtle humour! It's like a bit of a parody towards all those "I wanna be the very best" Boy adventure stories.
Just the lil panel of the kitten and the dog during the team introduction, staring at us with their blank beady eyes cracked me up for its perfect comedic timing.
But I feel that this is the kind of comic where I will read along and laugh over the crazy ideas. But after getting over the whackiness, I'll actually start to suddenly take it too serious without even realizing it hahah -
Does K have a troll face there?

That is correct.

G can also mean gold (I could never decide). H is Hermes. I is iron (or i-beam) - something metal.
J is Joker, although you wouldn't know it yet - he only smiles and laughs when he has the ball.
You are right about K (Known) but there is also a second meaning.
R is rat, V is vegetable, W is worm.
I cheated with X…it's actually E_x_periment. Experiment X. He is related to Z.
Y is youth (originally it was going to be "Yo!" and he was going to say "Yo!" all the time) - I know youth is probably too similar to boy (B) though.

Are Q and N brothers?!
No, but they were both born with very plain faces. There are some differences though - Q has blank eyes and doesn't have ears. When Q uses his pen he is a master of disguise.
(I'll have to look through them again to make sure I didn't make a mistake and draw Q with ears - but I tried not to - that was a silly clue that he took N's place before the game started)
Q has been watching all of the players for years, and there is a member on Team 3 that he is most suspicious of.
L gets taken out by… trippin? Not sure I understand.
He slipped on the banana peel and after that he probably bumped his head and fell into a garbage can and rolled down the streets and got dizzy and went unconscious.
Oh, and I like V too.

I was just curious if something was not clear, because sometimes I think my drawings might be hard to follow - or I might have made a mistake and I didn't realize it.
(Even though it's a silly story I hope it makes some kind of sense - I'm always worried about that)
