I know we have a Nostalgia Thread, but there people often talk about shows that are universaly liked or have a cult following of some sort.
But there are those shows that just slip through the cracks, you catch a couple of episodes of on 6 am on mondays, and then never see them again.
My list includes:

I have no clue what Fat Dog Mendoza is.
I loved the crap out of Monster Rancher, but my friends never gave it a chance. :(
The one show with monsters where the human actually helps instead of just giving orders… and people reject it.
That and Action Max.
2 stupid dogs was easily one of the funniest shows on CN, the episode with Y mart still cracks me up. And the one where little dog thinks he's asleep.

A surreal show with a fat dog and his "little costume buddy" (literaly, he has no other name) who'se a kid who never takes off his superhero costume and tries to fight crime (keywod being fail) in Neigbourhood X.
Just to explain how surreal the show is, Little Costume buddy's teacher is a siamese twin, Ms. Poly and Ms. Ester, and there's a suburb in the city in one episode which has humanoid dinosaurs….for some reason.

I liked Two and a Half men before the reruns… and later seasons. Mainly because the entire cast has something hate-able about them... but yet they stick together and work very well... strange. I could have done without the typical sitcom laugh box though.

Why would you be ashamed of liking DW? Even though it tends to go full on soap opera at times, it has a lot of redeeming things. 2.5 Men is the one you should be ashamed of.
With Dollhouse, I'm just happy Whedon got to tell his story, even though it would've been nice to see Alpha's development in becoming a good guy.

But yes. DH does have some cringe-worthy moments and even forced romantic romantic situations that make me sick, but I really like the fact the the setting takes place in a neighborhood that apparently looks like nothing can go wrong. Sure sometimes the dialogue is a bit weak here and here, but the combination of characters and story threads kept me interested. I'm just waiting for a perfect moment to marathon the whole thing like I did LOST. Still in the middle of Season 1.
And as for Dollhouse. I'm at the part after Alpha reveals himself late in Season 1(?). I literally jumped out of my chair because I didn't see that shit coming.

Dunno about you guys, but I enjoy the show Louie on FX…...my family does not.
Louie is beyond great. CK is the man. Wilfred (below) and Always Sunny are some of the funniest things on TV. Modern Family is the shit as well.

When the show started there was actually a lot of things to like besides the music. It was funny, it was very tongue in cheek and knew how ridiculous the premise was, the characters were endearing and a lot of the music was showtunes and old classics that 80% of the people watching had probably never heard before.
Then later the show started taking itself very seriously, every character became unlikeable and/or a Mary-Sue and the songs were just the latest pop hits.
Dream On is an Aerosmith classic that was later sampled by Eminem.
I guess it's a difference of environments type of thing, but I haven't met a single person (age 17-mid 20's range) where I live that didn't love the shit out of Dragon Ball Z as a kid. I've even occasionally had conversations from girls and guys spark up about it back when I was in high school. It depends on what you consider "hate" I guess… People joke about the AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH for 30 episodes thing, but I wouldn't consider that hate. Well, there was this one elitist guy who acted like Dragon Ball Z was all that was wrong in anime (but he couldn't be more wrong, especially if you're talking about Dragon Ball).
But ehm... as for the topic, probably Yu-Gi-Oh! 4kids dubbed edition. That's right, I'll take my offscreen punches, my Barney-voiced Tristan, and my mutilated Zorc. Admittedly I watched it when I was about 10 or 12, and had really really really low standards, but I'll admit, I've rewatched some of the episodes after I watched Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged by LittleKuriboh. And as a kid, I really liked the whole "DAAAAARKNESS" theme they had goin', so I probably would have liked Naruto Shippuuden too.
If I ever get a ton of free time and a hell of a lot crossed off my anime/TV/movies/books/video games list, I might get around to watching Yu-Gi-Oh! glorious subbed edition.

I can agree with this so much. I went to a HBCU when DBZ was at it's high and we pretty much treated it like an religion. Once the Buu arc started Dragonball became "uncool".

The only thing I'll admit to liking about YGO's dub is the voice acting everything else was bullshit and what really kills me is that even-though 4Kids is in a tailspin they have the license locked up until 2014 or so.

Yeah I sometimes come across as if giving it a clean cut, mainly when talking about the anime, dividing it in Dragonball and Dragonball Z. But yeah that that cut doesn't in fact exist.
Let me rephrase it and say I like Dragonball in its earlier phase, mainly because of the great jokes and heartwarming character build up. But thankfully Goku stays Goku throughout all of it. So it keeps a good level of entertainment and appeal till the end thanks to him.
What also might play into it, is that I used to watch "Dragonball" reruns as a kid, and only got to the continuation of the series much later. So the adventures of Kid Goku get an extra Nostalgia boost.

Started to hate it because of the pretentious speach at the begining and end of every episode. My god I wanted to punch that woman.
One me and my family loved was Due South It's all about a Mountie named Benton Fraiser who in his own words "I first came to Chicago on the trail of the killers of my father; and, for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, I have remained, attached as liaison officer with the Canadian Consulate."
So he, Chicago cop Ray, His deaf lip-reading wolf Diefenbaker, and the ghost of his father deals with crime. Also a few times they are helped by Sergent Buck Frobisher who resembles legendary Canadian actor Leslie Nielsen.
It was a fun show that was worth a good laugh. Didn't do to well in the us, but Canada had good enough ratings for it to last a 4 seasons.

I don't hate any given part of Dragon Ball, but I do agree that the silliness of the Buu-arc was quite welcome after the overly serious Cell-arc. (Though I still enjoyed the heck out of Cell's arc as well… Norio Wakamoto makes anything awesome, after all.)
