I just laughed my ass off at everyone saying elephant gatling was unrealistic and it sucked. Special since when it was in the manga, no one complained. Just loved all those comments about it beeing ridiculous and beeing like "Enel's attack beeing 2 raigo's". Just, facepalm…

Well, any one knows how much I should have to wait for an english version of this (like a patch or something), after the official release?

Doflamingo is playable, Moriah is not… Wow, just wow. That's honestly insulting.

Like really, he is the main villain of a still fairly recent arc, and was at the war, but Doflamingo, Kid, Law, Drake and Shanks are playable over him. Heck, he should even be in over Wapol (who I'm HAPPY is in), Enel and Lucci. I've just been brushing off a lot of the roster picks in my mind with "The game will still be fun." but really, this is insulting.

Yeah no Moriah playable is plain stupid. Just proof that they're not looking at actual characters who have fought and would make sense in a fighting game and instead who is popular with the fans.

Also. That poster shows Hina's sprite and what looks like Hammond. (Unless that's Caribou.)

Personally I haven't been interested in most of these picks for playables. Aside from the TS crew, Hodi, Smoker, Eneru and Lucci they're all pretty random

To be honest, I'd exchange the 4 above me + X Drake, Law and Kidd for Moria, Arlong, Mr. 1, Mr. 2, Mr. 3, Kuro and Don Creek. And if I could, I'd add Wiper, Hina, Gin and Foxy just to have the perfect OP game.

The sad thing is. . .even if they decided some day to make OP Gigant Battle 3, they'd add the new villains/allies of the then current arc, and keep forgeting Moria, Arlong, Mr. 2, Kuro. . .

At least this time they added Smoker, Lucci, Wapol and Enel.

Moria not being playable disappoints me - they have literally every other Shichibukai, yet Moria gets excluded over the likes of Doflamingo, Coby, and Caribou? When he had a whole arc to show off his powers, and they have hardly shown anything? That's just annoying, and seems like the lazy way out. (I mean, yes, Moria would be fairly difficult to sprite, but they're getting paid for this, and they're professionals. That shouldn't be an excuse)

However, the second poster from the blog update is interesting. I can see the Red-Haired Pirates in there (second row, far-right), and someone who might be Hina (in between Tashigi and Nightmare Luffy), and sprites for Bepo and Dadan.

EDIT: Also, apparently, the new commercial has Wiper, Kureha, and Pell in it, so they're probably support characters this time around.

Moria gets the shaft again. Poor guy. Every Shichibukai, past and present…....except Moria. Guess it'll just take him making his presence back in the main story for them to want to add him. Coby as well as some others over Moria is just....eh......

At any rate, just 10 more days until its released.

No Moriah in the game is good news, that means they are keeping characters under there belt for Gigant Battle 3 ! But unlike Bon Clay or Arlong, he could have an interesting gameplay !

And I can see Wiper, Kureha and Pell in the video too.

Funny to see that they fixed Sengoku and Jozu's colors, but not Hancock's !

Also, I did a quick headcount, and the only person missing from the original game now is Shiki (who we know is playable). Everybody else is new for this game. We already know about:

Stop saying Hyozou will be playable. He'd be lucky to get support. He has shown NO fighting skill. Every other character has fought at least once.

I 100% agree with you, except that I think Pell and Paulie would be pretty good additions, specially Paulie. The man showed some great stuff with his rope usage. He was dwarfed in strength by SH's and CP9, but he had remarcable abilities.

Pell as a flying Logia and sword user makes it very, very easy to create movements for him. And he could have Chaka for some specials. . .

Still, for me, the biggest "crime" is not adding Arlong after his awesome flashback appearance. He got incredibly developed, and it was the PERFECT excuse to bring him back as a playable character, and even use his FB appearance. A shame.

I'm not even saying I want Hyozou to be playable, but honestly it's not as if they haven't already made ridiculous playable character choices. What has Koby shown ability wise byond soru? Also stand and yell at Akainu.

We saw hozou swing around some swords ... just about as much fighting as we've seen from VDD, Koby, Shanks, and Doflamingo. Little less than Kid, Law, and Drake.

lol yeahh I agree actually, Paulie would be pretty cool. Pell wouldn't be bad either.

The only reason i see moriah not-playable is because they found him either to difficult to sprite or to difficult to draft a full moveset for. They have no excuse and even those arn't particulalry good excuses.

45 characters would still work on the select screen if we consider the fact that shanks is password only so if you don't get the password you only have 44 characters.

I don't think Shanks is password only - from what I could get from the blog using Google Chrome's translator, using Wi-Fi just unlocks him earlier, like how Dragon was unlocked as a support character through one of those map cards, even though he could be unlocked in the game itself using a more difficult method.
