The window that you type in web adresses is gone. I didn't do anything, it just happened when I went into the internet… I was able to get here because it was in my faves, but how do I get it back?

Assuming you're on Internet Explorer…
You can right click on Menu Bar (File, Edit, View, etc) and choose "Address Bar."
If you're on FireFox, then it should be called "Navigation Bar."
-
Sometimes, scripts will remove window features like the status bar or the address bar; it may just be a temporary problem which won't appear in a new window.
-
Alrighty it seems that whenever i try to use one of the features on the the new board such as paste, cut or copy i get a message that says i need to "Edit your mozilla config file to allow this action" So, where/how do I fix this.
-
Did you install any extentions? If so, you probably need to set the option at Tool > Extentions > <highlight whatever="" the="" extention="" you="" installed="">> Options.
If not, then… It might be
X:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\browserconfig.properties
where x is your book drive (usually C). But I DON'T RECOMMEND you to modify anything in it unless you know what you're doing. The best thing to do is probably reinstall your browser.</highlight>

hmm I dont have any extentions installed.

The site keeps "breaking".
Today, all afternoon, "cannot find server".
This evening, and yesterday too, "database error" and a disclaimer that a message has been sent to the tech staff.
Is there some problem at the AP end?
-
yes there is, I refrained from a post in the announcement forum because last time I did that, not many really cared, and even this time, this is the first post I've seen someone mention it.
-
Hm So I've encountered the wierdest thing. Whenever I try to use firefox now it freezes up my computer. Its not the internet because internet explorer runs just fine. Same thing with AIM. Does any one know whats up with my computer?
-
nope, but did you try reinstalling firefox? Make sure you're using the latest version.
