Oh, that makes me wonder; when Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Chopper went to the Galley-La HQ to capture Robin, Nami didn't bring the Perfect Tact. Yet she knew that combat was inevitable. Plot hole?
Who said she didn't bring it? She easily could have hidden it… um... somewhere. And even then, it's not like she knew battle was inevitable or anything. And even then, she could have figured ''Meh, Zoro and Luffy'll be there''.
Prolly she just didn't deem it worthwhile to use it with Luffy and Zoro accompanying her… and let's not forget Chopper

Don´t we all remember the glitches with Franky´s iron fist during his fight with Nero, where in one panel it was the right hand, in the other the left hand and in the other panel none of tham that was the iron hand?
So why don´t we this pic just as another glitch by his assistents?

No, not of his asssistants. I'm not belittling Oda, heck, I worship him. I'm pretty sure it's not a glitch (Commonly known as mistakes).
I kind of think that Oda hadn't planned a new weapon for Nami at that point. There is quite a few number of chapters in between, 15+ or so until the revealing of the Perfect Tact, so it is understandable.

I´m sure that Oda planned the usage of that weapon even a lot longer before that scene. He probably had all the basic plans for who will fight who in his mind and just had to develop everything so in that case Nami would have needed a stronger weapon then in Alabasta.
And I still think that the cloud dial that Usopp said doesn´t work in the blue sea is included in her Perfect Clima Tact. It´s just too much of a hint that we will see this dial if you ask me. If that is the case then the only possibilty how such a dial would work in a blue sea is to be inlcuded on a device that can create clouds and artificial weather: the Clima Tact!

One possible choice is to have SogeKing present the new weapon when the group got reunited (Ch. 376). But I still prefer the original introduction, because there's the line:

Just one last thing on that matter. When they went to Galley-la their motive was to find out whether Nico Robin is friend or foe. But when they were in the Umi-Ressha they went to take her back and to kick CP9´s asses. So that´s why she probably wasn´t equipped with her newest weapon.
After all Luffy and Zoro themselves weren´t mindset on CP9 ass kicking as they were later on.

Yes, that reminds me. I've been too absorbed with his New Weapon in the colorspread. It doesn't look like a hammer, so I would assume that:
1. The new hammer is another different weapon.
2. The new hammer is fused with the New weapon, maybe on the other end of the stick (we didn't get to see the whole thing).
I would imagine that the New Hammer has more than one dial empowering it. In my mind, it looks like some sort of a… short range revolver...
Imagine a sturdy wooden stick with three or more dials on top of it.
-Axe.

Ah, yes, the new weapon does indeed seem like a long range weapon; I never mentioned otherwise. A hammer is funny, yes, but it is effective. Although Usopp is much better off with long-range combat, he needs a close quarter combat weapon. Usopp's first win against the Merman was thanks to both his sniping skills and his hammer. Hmm, the same can be said with the fight with the Mr. 4 pair.
It's just that he mentioned that he can upgrade his hammer with the dials, and I feel that the hammer will come out in this battle with the CP9.
Soge Kings new slingshot thingy is probley enhanced with dials. It has to be something that boosts his power a lot. Most likley it has some seceret witch enables powerful long-range attacks.
His hammer is probley like 2-3 inches shorter than his sling shot. Perhaps it has like 4 dials built into it.

I never said that I doubt that we will see an upgraded Usopp Hammer. I just thought that the color spread weapon is a "Perfect" Slingshot because that´s his primary weapon. It makes more sense to show him with that instead of an secondary weapon.
And personally I really hope to see a dial hammer. I wonder how many tons it will be this time…500!:laugh:

Well with you, cangsho and myself we´re three with roughly the same idea.
maybe usopp put a impact to use as propulsion… but i don't now how this would be effective.... if he had a Jet Dial then it would rock, tough i'm not sure how it recharges. also his Impact is for the Usopp's Hammer.
i only know SogeKing will hand a CP9 his ass with the Dials. he's a very good strategist (when fighting serious aka Luffy), just the combo of Flash, Breeze+Gas, Impact, and those i hope he has like Jet, Axe. I just rope he doesn't have Reject...
Kinda felt ripped off when I saw Gomu Gomu Storm, it was basicly the same thing as Gomu Gomu Gatling.
Gomu Gomu Gatling is a straight-line attack with Luffy walking towards his opponent.
Gomu Gomu Storm is an aerial spinning attack with a comparatively greater number of punches. It's like a super-powered Gatling and I think it's awesome.

I do believe that particular aspect is because he can remove the glove and place it back on with ease. However it is true there was hand switching.

Luffy already did his Gomu Gomu no Storm, he did that to Crocodile and tried to use it on Aokiji. This one is is the same olny that he is doing it on the ground.
