Kevin Conroy will not be reprising his role as the Dark Knight. To fit this younger version, WB Games Montreal decided to go with a new voice actor. The name of the actor wasn’t revealed.
Whaaaaaat.
Other snipits.
The Batman of Arkham City is Batman 5.0. He will punch out a guy without looking at him knowing exactly how many teeth he’s just fractured just from the feeling from his knuckles. Our Batman is version 0.9.
Expect every boss encounter to be different
We [ WB Games Montreal ] really believe that we’ve made the coolest version of Deathstroke [in any media]. He’s a wonderful counterpart to Batman.
Making Batman scary again is important. Thugs are in absolute awe of Batman, debating whether or not he’s even human.
Two game features were abandoned because they didn’t live up to previous Arkham games. (1) Robotic drones that would hunt Batman were axed because the developers decided that Batman shouldn’t spend the whole of the predator sections on the defensive. (2) Gusts of wind from the dynamic weather system which would force thugs to stand still and cover their eyes made it to difficult for players to control Batman ( snowy rooftops made him slip ). Mattes said that they cut it because it “sucks”.
Batman is impulsive, overconfident as he still has to encounter an opponent on par with his strength. He is clever but does not think of everything, for example when interrogating a thug he can be dominated by violence and stun the thug before getting the information he wanted. The major difficulties he will have to deal with in the game will have a strong impact on his psychology and will make him change to the more realist and stoic Batman from the previous games.
Rupert Thorne is mentioned (as well as Falcone)
Some of the 8 assassins will be side missions, and we will not be finished with them from the first encounter.
Unlocking location for the Batwing is a whole side mission : an unknown hacker has jammed the radio system and Batman needs to restore it.
New combat move : Batman can rush toward an enemy while knocking another one on his path.
Freeze boss fight from Arkham City is the main model for Origins boss fights.
I like that last point, as that boss fight was easily the best of either game.
Expect the full trailer on Monday.
Gotta be a dick and say it; who cares? It's just a stupid CGI trailer.
They had a trailer like this for Arkham City, and that was awesome. At the very least, hopefully it can build up some hype for Black Mask like the first Arkham City trailer did for Hugo Strange.
I honestly love the current direction for this game.
More of a 'Year One' kind of motif. Batman when he's dealing with more of the local mob going-ons… not taking on super villains.
It's a great segway to have Black Mask be such a major player in this game... only to later fire up your "Arkham City" disc and see him getting his ass beat by the Tyger guards as he's incarcerated.

Allow me to be dick back and say no-one cares about your opinion. The CGI teaser I posted was actually a mini-glimpse of what the full Cgi trailer will be. The trailer will expose gamers little taste of this games story akin to what the Arkham City trailer did awhile back. Several fans anticipating and hoping the game will be good care.

I'd be excited if it was a teaser for a CG film, but it's a video game. Show me gameplay/in-game footage or don't bother showing anything.
Could be worse it could be a live action trailer and we all know how much the gamer community loves thos.
Official trailer.

It appears that deathstroke will be a dlc playable character.

Kevin Conroy has personally confirmed he is the voice of Batman in Arkham Orgins.
Every time I see Slade in something like Injustice or Arkham, I half-expect to hear him voiced by Ron Perlman.
And hey, Deadshot's there too.
I figured Deadshot would be one of the 8.
Looks awesome.
Damn incredible graphics.
I'm a little infy on the younger, less experienced Batman thing, which in comics has always been an excuse for writers to make Bats far stupider than any character has a right to be.

Some new screenshots, including one that looks closer to gameplay than what we've seen before, and one featuring the Joker (who I didn't think would be in this game). Any idea who that guy in red is? Looks like some sort of Arkham inmate, but I don't recognize the person from any previous games.
EDIT: Never mind. Apparently it's someone named Anarky, as described in this article.
I'm wondering if this might be coming to PS4, because the platforms at the end of the trailer doesn't have the PS3 logo. It has the Sony logo, then a logo that just says PlayStation. The 360 and Wii-U logo are there.

Ah there is the clown prince I was waiting for a screenshot of him
So get this, despite the developers saying Kevin Conroy wasn't going to voice Batman in Origins Conroy himself just came out and said he was.
He's wrong.
Roger Craig Smith (Chris Redfield and Ezio Auditore) is voicing the Bat. While Troy Baker is voicing the Joker. So what this means is Kevin Conroy just outed another Arkham game thinking it was this one, no doubt Rocksteady is making that one (which we already knew).
EDIT: Conroy confirmed via his twitter that he is indeed talking about another Arkham game, and not Origins. The tweet has been deleted now.
Well it wasn't a secret to start with. Though I'am curious to how Baker's Joker will sound.
That's a very Jack Nicholson-looking Joker.

I really don't think that is his official Twitter account…could be I guess, but still doesn't seem legit...
So, there are two games in the making or not? Wikipedia claims that Kevin Conroy will be Bats, and I'm too knocked out to search anything else.
The sequel to City and Origins only two games we know about.
@LUFFY#1:

Apparently a confirmed representative stated it was indeed him.
Wow…. Looks pretty good. My only concern is that we stay away from repeat Rogues.
Pre ordered it with the option to change it into PS4 version for 9,99 if announced for it

Box art I wish they were more creative with the console box art. The Vita one looks good
This was most likely already posted on the E3 thread. But whatever.
Smith and Baker sound almost exactly like Conroy and Hamill, that is crazy!
I donlt understand why they're branding this game with the name Arkham when from the looks of it Arkham has nothing to do with the games plot. I get its because its still in the arkham verse but still….
Won't let me watch that video says it's private
Found another video of it
Bane is here too and is Black Mask voiced by Two-Face's VA? It sounds like it.

Wait, WHAT?
The "Blackgate" on the cover…Does this mean.....you get to explore Blackgate Penitentiary like you did Arkham Asylum?! Holy Moses any conformation on that?
fingers crossed
The sequel to City and Origins only two games we know about.
Wasn't the sequel to City going to be a 1950's style silver-age batman game? Did that idea finally get scrapped? That or Origins is that prequel idea, except not campy.
Besides Deathstroke and Deadshot, I really hope one of the other 8 assassins hired to kill batman is Firefly, that would be so awesome.
Also, it was hinted in Arkham City that Firefly has a close business relationship with Black Mask:
In Arkham City, It was later revealed that Firelfy was currently operating with Black Mask in his own newly-formed gang and assisted him with his first (and successful) breakout attempt from the prison before the events of the game. However, during Roman's escape, Lynns disappeared and was left behind by the gang.
Arkham Origins would be a good way to show how Firefly and Black Mask first struck up this criminal partnership.

Just like Asylum hinted at City, City hinted at another game that would potentially involve Scarecrow who'll probably get ursurped by some other villian anyway just like Two-Face and Strange. Also that silver age isn't tied to the Arkham verse, which I don't think has been scrubbed.
Another interesting tidbit I noticed/caught in one of the newspaper clippings above is this:
First off, the Newspaper clippings come from the Arkham Asylum game, set five years after the events of Arkham Origins.
Inside the highlighted circle, the article headline reads: "ROMAN SIONIS IN COURT!"
In the upcoming Origins game, Roman Sionis is publicly the famous corporate head of Janus Cosmetics, but secretly is the number one gang leader of the Gotham mob, Black mask. In the Arkham universe, the masks that Black Mask and his cronies wear act as a shield for their far more public personas. No one knows that Roman Sionis is Black Mask, and Sionis is able to maintain power within the city by exploiting both identities. In other words, he's a villain with good publicity and enormous resources.
(source of this game information found here)
So the best reason why that clearly old/dated article headline reads that Roman Sionis is in court is because he's standing trial for his crimes committed as Black Mask after his criminal empire is destroyed and identity exposed by Batman at the end of Arkham Origins! That article is from five years ago which is why it looks faded/worn with time! The Joker is seen on the front page because he's also in the Arkham Origins game too!
Foreshadowing!
Color me impressed, this actually looks tons better than City already.
That looks so awesome
I got jitters when he said, "What's everyone's favorite boss from City?" (thank god they eventually got to the right answer)…and then proceeded to explain how they wanted to take similar approaches with all the bosses in Origins.
Freeze is to boss battles as Chinatown is to screenplay.
A less intrusive version of that demo.
I'm really excited for the alternate costumes we'll be getting this time around. They announced Knightfall/Azrael, but also and more importantly, ADAM WEST. Supposedly they're both PS3-exclusive, but… so was the Sinestro Corps suit in Arkham City, and yet now I use that one on my PC version all the time.

Sony exclusive, they'll be in the PS4 version too, not just PS3.
Well, same difference. Odds are they won't stay "exclusive" to whatever system or brand they start off with.
I](http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/07/18/batman-arkham-origins-introducing-copperhead)ntroducing Copperhead. she seems pretty badass. (yeah copperhead is apparently a woman now)
I'm guessing Copperhead is going to be the source of our "Bat's freaking out" segment.
For reference, this is what Copperhead normally looks like
I think recently, in one of the DC Batman universes, Copperhead is a female; the "new" Copperhead. So, her being a female in Arkham Origins isn't that strange.
I like Copperheads female design, but to me it looks like she moves too much like Catwoman.
